King Neptune Restaurant

We had a party of seven, 15 minute promised wait turned to 45 minutes. The wait staff was extremely rude and apathetic. Our waitress played with her hair the entire time as she was serving our food. The food was cold, the shrimp were rubber, the twice baked potato was terrible, the cole slaw was excessibly warm. Two of our party members threw up before even leaving. I would never go back to this restaurant. I was there with 4 other people and the food was absolutely disgusting. We all had seafood. Scallops were like rubber, shrimp tasted like frozen, crabcake was burned, Pros: hush puppies were good Cons: everyhing else was disgusting and prices were high for no value more

I love their green pepper sauce. If anyone knows where to order it let me know. The food was okay and the service was okay. My wife really enjoyed her food. No one was rude to us. The place was somewhat deserted and that did make us somewhat hesitant. Parking is terrible on Wrightsville beach though. Pros: Good pepper sauce Cons: The place seemed a little dirty. more

We took an impromptu trip to Wrightsville Beach on Sunday 9/3. First the parking was terrible, the opening to the lot is tiny and easy to miss. We had to turn around and manuver our way into the lot. We crossed the street and started reading the menu posted outside. The prices seemed a little high, but it is a resprt area. Then two ladies exited the restaurant and told us to save our moeny and time an NOT to go in for food. They had just come out and said they were horrified by the terrible service, poor quality of the food and how expensive everything was. They told us the portions were tiny, not even enough food to take a doggie bag if they had wanted to. They said the waitstaff was rude and ignored them and the food was the worst part.
