I am very thankful for the care that was received while at Kindred Hospital Westminster. Many of the staff was very compassionate and courteous while working with me, while some of the staff went above and beyond. The rehabilitation department was wonderful. Therapists Mary Ann and Matrice were really good and had done a great job! Nurses Victoria, Flor, Kaitlyn, and Lupe were really good and some even went out of their way. The Respiratory Therapist Calvin and Isaac were great! There are so many that were really good, it is difficult to name them all. I am thankful for Dr. Saylor, she had come in and took time to talk with me about my care. Overall, the care and communication was great between the staff and us. All this is why I was able to get better faster. more

Friendly 5/31/2019

All the staff here has been really good to me. When I was first admitted, I was frustrated and uneased because of the hospitals that I had just came from. However, a staff member named Alan really made me feel comfortable. Each department in here has been friendly and very nice to me. Also, I have more communication with the case managers here than I have had at the previous hospital. more

I would like to thank my CNA Cathy, she has been an absolute savior. She always goes beyond her duties to make sure that I am comfortable. She always makes sure I have what I need when she leaves the room. She keeps me bathed and cleaned and I greatly appreciate this. She is an angel. more

Praise 3/29/2019

My brother was admitted after suffering a stroke to Kindred. My wife and I had a pleasure of meeting Nurse Angelica. She is truly an expert and took great care of my brother. She is competent, friendly, professional when performing her duties. We are grateful for the high degree of care that she afforded my brother. She was never too busy and very informative. She was always enthusiastic when interacting with us and my brother. Thank you for the service that was provided. more

Great Care 3/12/2019

I really would just like to thank the staff and doctors for the overall great care. When I had questions, people were available and knowledgeable in their answers. My father was kept safe, stable, clean, and comfortable throughout his stay. The nurses were great at responding to concerns. The doctors took the time to call and give updates. My dad left in great condition. Thank you for the high level of care you have given my father. more

Outstanding 1/15/2019

My father was impressed by the majority of the staff at all levels. The doctors, nurses, and even the housekeepers were great. My family deeply appreciates Nurse Alexis for being so caring toward my father. She had taken care of my father on many occassions. Even when the staffing was difficult, she was on top of everything. She always went above and beyond. She is an outstanding nurse at Kindred. more

Appreciative 12/19/2018

Since I was admitted the staff has been great; especially, the nurse Angelica. Every time I have her as my nurse, I feel very secure. I enjoy being a patient in this hospital because of the type of nurse that she is. Not only is she a good nurse, she is a very good person. We need more nurses like her. She is very trustworthy and tends to my needs without me even asking. I really appreciate her and the other staff that has taken care of me. more

I was at Kindred from November 2017 to January 2018 and just recently. My stay at this hospital went very well. I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and the rest of the team for being very good with me. They all made me a happy camper!!! more

Comfortable 12/5/2018

We felt like everything was okay. If we asked the staff for something that was needed, they were always there to help. We were happy to see they have teamwork. We are very thankful for the doctors and the staff for their assistance and hard work. They did a great job with my husband. My husband came from Fountain Valley ICU and after leaving Kindred, he is stable and does not need to breath using a machine. We like to thank the he Nurses Dong, Sara, Vince, and all the others. It is difficult to remember all their names. more

Tremendous 12/4/2018

I would definitely recommend Kindred Westminster to any of my family or friends, if they needed it. Everyone has been so good to me. The nurses and staff are great. The Case Manager Robin is tremendous and she deserves all the kudos in the world. She has been up, checking on me and everything else everyday. Julie and Sheila, from Administration, are always checking on me, at least 2-3 times a week to see how I am doing. The doctors are great. Dr. Pang is tremendous and he sees me everyday. Thank you for everyone here that has checked on me. more

Angels 12/3/2018

My husband is currently in Kindred Westminster struggling with Throat Cancer. He was operated on at Saddleback Hospital and came out with a tracheotomy and feeding tube. This required that he go to a short term sub-acute. They him a bed at Kindred Westminster. I was so nervous because of the reviews but I want everyone to know that all of the nurses, PT and OT folks - even the room cleaners, the receptionists and the cafeteria folks are ALL angels on earth. It is amazing how attentive and kind these folks all are! They call me with updates if I can't get there and they are aware of my husband' s pain and feelings, good or bad and then they keep the docs and me informed. The facility is kind of old but it is clean and the angels on earth are everywhere! I can not thank each of them enough! more

Good 11/30/2018

We were only in Kindred Hospital for a little less than a week. The nurses were great, they were respectful in communicating with us. The respiratory therapists were very task oriented. Every time we had a need, they were there to address it. The doctors were good and helped us get discharged adequately. We thank the team that took care of us. more

Great 11/7/2018

I would like to express sincere gratitude for all the staff. They all were very helpful from the time of the tour, admission, during the stay, and at discharge. The nursing and respiratory therapists were great. There are just too many to name. Everyone here always had a smile. Dr. Kohli was great and very involved with my wife's care. He was critical for my wife's recovery. Dr. Pang is another great doctor. He is very friendly. I thank everyone and it is very much appreciated. more

We would like to thank the staff at Kindred Hospital Westminster for taking care of our father. They always made sure that he was clean, that he smelled good, and always keeping him looking good. We appreciated how the nurses took the time to bath and shave him. We are appreciative and grateful for the attention and the care that was given to our father. Happy 10/10/2018

The staff here has been great. Jesus and Maricar are very friendly. They are always willing to help and are always quick in their response. The rehabilitation team has been more than great. Stacy and Hamed are great. They have greatly helped me excel in my progress. Because of them, I have made the progress that I have had. I have not been home since August, so I am so happy that I get to go home. more

Nice People 9/21/2018

Dr. Pole is my primary doctor, Dr. Kohli and Dr. Kale are also following me. They are fine physicians and very nice people. Their care and direction has been for my rapid recovery in getting better. The nursing and rehabilitation team have always checked on me and and I have never had any issues. The Physical Therapist Stacey has been very nice. Thank you for taking great care of me. more

I have enjoyed the treatment I have recieved, the staff amd the Social Worker has checked on me often. The rehab therapist is great, they are calm and very good at keeping a pace I can handle. The Nurses are good and have been speaking with me frequently. Dr. Kohli has been great and working fast to get me better. I would like to talk to him about treatment options. Thank you for everyone! more

I would like to thank the dietician and staff for helping with the food selections and coming to my room. Also, it was great getting to be able to go outside with the therapist. The lady in the front lobby and the security were very courteous. Thank you! more
