Kindred Hospital Santa Ana

I have been to 4 different rehab type facilities, and this was better than all of the rest. Everyone was professional and supportive, They gave me everything I needed, they over delivered on everything. Upon arrival Kim the CNA took care of everything, treating me like family All the CNA's kept me clean and the wound care was fantastic, they kept me out of pain during dressing changes and helped me with my wounds. The CNA's in the early morning can me a little slow and a little rough, and the one thing that they really could improve on is when the trays are delivered in the morning it would be nice if they would get everything ready for the patient to eat. Someone would always come back in and get it ready for me, but it would be nicer if they did it when the trays were delivered. more

I am compelled to share my experiences with Kindred Hospital in Santa Ana on behalf of mr. Jo, his family and friends. We share gratitude and high regards for their professionalism. As our beloved Hyun was sent to Kindred to spend his final weeks there, each member of the staff showed us personal concerns and seemed to genuinely enjoy providing utmost care for our beloved. In this day and age where expecting these types of services seem unrealistic, it was most refreshing tot find a hospital that adheres to old ways of care-giving. I would want to be in a place like this if I ever needed such care. Thank You Kindred. We are grateful for your services with smiles and personal touch. more

I want to thank the staff here for all of their help with my husband. He came in with a Traumatic brain injury, and the entire staff has been amazing. When he came in he wasn't able to even breathe on his own, and thanks to the hard work and dedication he left being able to talk and even stand up with Physical Therapy. I want to especially thank Joe and Robert from respiratory, and AnnMarie, Kathleen and Nancy for all of their help. Also Veronica, Albert the night security, all the nurses, house supervisors and Respiratory I will be back just to give you all a hug. more

I have been a patient here for 6 months, my hospital stay has been good. My nursing staff has been good with a few bad. I Would say on average nursing staff 75% are good. Some standout nurses are Lourdes, Kevin, Steve, Elias, Jovan, Roxanna, LVN Jane, Yancy, Angela, Albert, Lanette, Nikki, Bert, Pong and nurse Supervisor Ehab. I Came in without the use of my arms and legs an with the help of these nurses and the wound care team Tony, Fora and Florida and Raul ad Delia from rehab I am now able to move my arms and use my hands a little bit. Slowly I am recovering and hopefully I will continue to progress case manager and Administration have been doing great things. Morgan AnnMarie Dora Kathleen Yvette, George and Ian have truly made a difference and heard my voice. The caring staff have made my day to day much more bearable. Everyone including the cleaning staff have been excellent, they do so much more than just clean my room, Gloria, Ruth Amy and Lily have gone so much above and beyond. If I had to recommend a hospital I would recommend this one because of the caring staff. more

I came to Kindred Santa Ana into the ICU unit after a heart transplantation and an infection. I was in the ICU and it was intense annd hard to deal with, but being the person that I am i overcame all of the obsticles that I had including multiple infections and the inability to stand or walk or even sit at the side of the bed. I was barely eating . The staff all worked together to stimulate me enough that I was able to move to the next level. The first person I met was James from rehab, he started to work with me even though I wasn't a very good patient. I just couldn't seem to recover fast enough. I then started to work with other members of the rehab staff, and working with such different people with different speciaties made a huge difference in my recovery. Every day was more chaklenging than thenext, but I never have up, and the team never gave up on me. I received more rehab rhan I eer thought I would in my life, and I want to thank the main force behind it all the one who had the biggest influence on me AnnMarie the Patient Advocate she went above and beyond the call to assist in my recovery and I am truly greatful for her and the rehab staff especially Dennis, Raul, Carlo, Delia and James.The nursing staff was really good, and I was able to overcome my infections, and with the help of the rehab staff I was able to leave Kindred able to walk. more
