Khan's Tutorial is the worst of all Tutorials run by Bangaldeshis. I went for SHSAT preparation recently. There were more than thirty students in one room. Teacher does not explain anything much, just write the answers on the board. Many students keep talking in the back and makes all kinds of noises. Nobody cared whether we were learning anything or not. I stopped going to Khan's after three weeks. more

Khan's Tutorial is the biggest scam!\r \r \r Khan's Tutorial is run by one of the biggest liar in Bengali community named Dr. Khan. This so called doctorate never teaches any class. Dr. Ivan Khan is another bully. He does not teach any class either. This whole business of tutoring is a scam managed entirely by Khan family. All classes are taught by young unpaid volunteers who themselves need some tutoring! Dr. Khan's sole responsibility is to count all the cash he cheats out of unsuspecting parents. Khan's Tutorial is a total fraud. So called Dr. Khan never teaches any students. Just go to any of Khan's tutorial and you will see older kids teaching younger kids. Many of these tutors are known as volunteers. They don't really care what students are learning. It's all media propaganda. Khan's tutorial became so well known by running nonstop advertisement in all Bengali newspapers and TV channels. If you wish to waste your time and money, please send your children to Khan's Tutorial. more

I got a 2250 with Khans 3/24/2011

I took two prep courses during my junior and senior year. The first was at Kaplan. I did fairly well and received a 1900 but I felt their teaching methods were too general and didn't delve into to the material well enough. When I joined Khan's for SAT prep, their teacher gave me some great test tips that I wish I knew the first time. Their strategies helped me big time; I got a 2250. For half the price of other SAT prep services out there, you're getting more than your money's worth. My only complaint was they opened in Ozone Park a few blocks away a year AFTER my exam... more

I had learned about Khan's from a friend who recommended it to me for it's Specialized Science High School Preparation. My daughter is currently a sophomore in Stuyvesant High School thanks to attention of her teacher from Khan's Tutorial. If you are looking for your child to get into one of these schools, Khan's Tutorial is a good decision.. more
