All though this is a good place for your kids to learn, I've never seen a daycare that goes through so many teachers. Our kids are always confused on who there teacher is going to...

Best in Class!!!! 4/5/2011

My son went to this school since he was almost 2 years old and stayed there until he had to go to kinder. Now my daughter who just turned 2 attends Kendall and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! She has had the same teacher since she started almost a year ago and there are 2 other teachers in her class which to me is a great thing that they have small teacher to student ratios!!! This school goes above and beyond for the children. I shared a concern with them that my daughter did not eat at all at home, something that came to their surprise because she eats really good at the school, next thing I know they are sending her home with a container of her favorite meals. Only someone who cares does that!!!!!! everyone (and I mean every single person at the school) knows my kids by name. more

Thankful for this school 3/6/2011

My son has been attending this school for two years. I know sometimes he can be a handful, but sometimes all children are. The staff is loving, caring and he loves the attenion he gets. He is learning a lot and loves his school. He goes to school smiling everyday and hugs everyone when he goes home. The school is very clean and they love to decorate for the holidays. This is the best school in the county. more

VERY PLEASED 3/3/2011

my child has been attending Kendall Academy for about 2 years now. i have nothing but good comments to say about them. yes they are clean and yes they have great decorations, but they go beyond that. they're love and care for each child is amazing. each time i drop off or pick up i am greeted by all the staff, everyone knows my childs name which makes me feel very comfortable. the teachers are very understanding and i am able to talk with them in honesty. this is a childcare but the curriculum they have is like if they were in a preschool. they do actually teach the children, not just babysit. os i really do recommend this childcare..this will be a great experience for your children...they will be more than ready for the ""Big School""...their teachers will be very surprised..and you will feel very proud!! more

Do not let the aesthetics fool you! 2/24/2011

I was drawn in by the aesthetics and the overall so called ""name"" of this daycare. I was not all impressed by what I found after a few weeks. I was horrified to find huge classes, multiple teachers, many hands, and overall poor teatment!! I was berated by unprofessionallism and stunned by the way one of the owners poorly handled a situation that could have been easily solved. I would never recommend this place!!! Do NOT let the beautiful decorations fool you-this place is poorly runned like a puppy mill. Too large and just concerned with how many kids they can pump through their doors! more

Worst school for the Mental Health of ANY child 2/17/2009

I want to speak out against this schoool. I have met with other mothers with children who also endured mental aguish in this facility. They are very basically putting children into mental breakdowns. Do you notice how they are CONSTANTLY in the paper hiring more and more people? It's in almost every paper. It is also on a wide spread search that leads out of town. Not only does the staff change, so do the students. Because if the kid isn't ""perfect"" they kick them out. Do you have any idea how upsetting that is for a child?? Check with FDLRs to see how many kids were sent to them from Kendall. They use government agencies to ""teach"" themselves. There are NO cameras in a school that big also. Yes, the school is clean. They have a whole cleaning crew. But look beyond the looks. Look beyond the cheap cost and the included lunch. Sometimes when something seems too good to be true, it is. Pros: Clean Cons: Abusive to children more

The details. 11/7/2008

I would like to share my child?s success with all of the parents who are doing their due diligence on a potential school for their child. We enrolled our daughter approx. four years ago at Kendall Academy of Vero Beach. We enrolled at a time when the school was undergoing enormous changes to the facilities, curriculum and teachers. What drew us to Kendall Academy was the proactive attitude they had towards education and the overall development of our child. Our daughter left Kendall Academy this past summer as part of her transition to elementary school. Her teachers now can not say more positive remarks about how well behaved our daughter is, her participation in class, and her performance in her classes. We feel that the dedication and involvement the teachers at Kendall Academy had with our child made all of the difference. Pros: The quality of the curriculum. Cons: The overall size of the school. more

A place where your child will learn and not simply be looked after. 10/29/2008

Pros: Teachers, Cleanliness, Curricullum Cons: Distance from work more

Teachers come and go 8/8/2008

All though this is a good place for your kids to learn, I've never seen a daycare that goes through so many teachers. Our kids are always confused on who there teacher is going to be because of how frequently teachers have quit. I think this is going to show that even though they run a good school they don't seem to show there staff the respect they should. This is really bad for our children because then there bahavior may tend to change with them seeing that no one is ever there to stay too long of a period of time. The way i see is, if you want to run a great business your staff counts as part of that since in reality there the ones that are spending the day with the children and teaching them. It's ridiculous that our children go to school and don't even recognize there teachers because they change so often. The staff is what makes your school successful so maybe you need to realize how much they do for our kids and stop putting our kids through all this confusion. Pros: clean, neat, organized Cons: staff more
