Worst

I lost my 8 yr old pet iguana becuase DR SALEEB misdiagnosed my iguanas condition.If a vet doesnt know whats wrong he should send you to some one who does immediately.

Katella animal clinic, has been a heaven descend for me, when I came to the states to visit my parents and brought my 8 month old doggie, he got sick start vomiting and had diarrhea, I called the clinic and they told me to come in right away, they took care of my dog and he is much better than yesterday, they saved his life and now he is playing around me and jumping on my lap.\r I really love Dr. Saleeb and his entire staff. they are greatly appreciated, they really care, very affordable and caring. they really made me feel like at home.\r \r again, thank you very much Katella animal clinic for everything you done for me and I will always visit you when I am here in California \r \r I really recommend this clinic to everyone in Orange California.\r \r Sara\r more

Took my Chinchilla there for a check up. Dr seemed very knowledgable and caring tword my pet. I had a hard time finding a vet that treated exotics and Im very glad I found this one. more

Great experience and Wonderful Vet at this clinic 1/9/2012

I just can not say enough about this great Dr here at ""Katella Animal clinic"" make sure when you have an a pet that other Vet did not know how to treat, you go and see Dr Saleeb. I moved from Las Vegas, came to Anaheim with three dogs, and two cats. I wanted to see a Dr that will be my Vet forever, I looked and did my homework by searching this clinic and I am glad I did my homework. I went to see Dr Saleeb., a very wonderful Dr, he has the best bedside manner I every seen, he is very caring, he spent a great time with me in the room explaining things about my sick dog, he took the time to review all the blood work they did for my ""Mambo"" and the x-rays findings, went home and felt like I got a vet for life, I even got a phone call the next day from his wonderful staff to ask about my doggies, and to see if there is anything I need , they even asked about me, and they asked me to come back for a follow up to make sure the medications is working and my baby is doing ok. I highly recommend Dr Saleeb to all my friends and family members, he knew what was bothering my dog from the exam, and all the follow ups. not to mention the clinic is very clean, and their prices are very affordable. very highly recommended to everyone in Orange County. Thank you Dr Saleeb for you great care, and wonderful medicine,,,, you are great....Mambo more

great experience, low prices, very caring staff there 1/29/2011

I have been going to a local clinic here in Anaheim for the last several years, until my Vet moved to another state and retired, I looked everywhere for a great vet and clinic that can replace my clinc and thanks God. I found this place, they really showed me how a great animal clinic is, they are very friendly, their prices was very affordable, they even went over all the directions of how to give my medications, their clinic smells like holidays scents, very clean . I saw the vet for my little dog and cat, and he was very professional, caring, he even called ""Toby"" sweatheart...., he introduced himself, shaked my hand, and showed me how to care for my dog at home. Now, I am so glad to have this place for all my animal care, I came back for recheck, and the same day of the visit, the doctor even called me at home to see how is my dog doing. Now, my husband is goling to get another dog from the shelter, and we will definatley go back to have them to be my vet for ever and to care for all my pets. I told all my family, neighbors, and friends about this place and i really recommend them to everyone. trust them, they are really caring, and professional...... more

not my best experience 1/12/2011

I took my kitten here for a check up. The people checking me in seemed very rude and asked me questions repeatedly as if i was trying to trick them. The vet prescribed me $30.00 worth of saline solution in a 2 oz bottle. However the coup de grace was that 3 or 4 days later i realize my cat had gotten fleas. Being an indoor cat with no contact with other animals I told the vet and they basically told me it wasn't possible for my cat to get fleas from them and then ended the conversation trying to sell me flea medication. I'm going to look for a new vet... more

Brownie is doing good 12/5/2010

Last year during Brownie?s regular check up, his doctor, Dr.Van P. Steed, at Katella Animal Clinic found a major cavity in his canines. It had resulted in swollen gums. Dr Steed told us that if the tooth was not removed at the earliest, things would become really difficult. Before this, I had never seen a dog?s teeth taken out! I was seriously worried about how he would extract Brownie?s teeth. Sitting outside the operation Theatre I was hoping that things would go in the right direction. After about 15 minutes, Dr. Van came out and declared that the operation was successful. I was really happy that my Brownie?s operation was done by the right doctor. more

The Best Place to Take Your Pet!!! 12/1/2010

I just moved to Anaheim and needed a vet. With the great reviews decided on Katella Animal clinic. I was so thrilled I did. I have a very sick kitty only 11/2 yrs old. They only charged me for 1 x-ray, but took 3. They gave me free appetite pills and food for her. She is still a very sick kitty and gave a list of financial supporters to call and see if I can get some help. The doctors there are so kind and caring. Either one of the doctors is very understanding and tries to help as much as possible. Don't hesitate on taking your loved pet to them. more

Make sure you see Dr. Saleb when you go! 3/2/2010

I was able to get into the office on short notice but unfortunately, I didn't see Dr. Saleb during my visit. He was so kind that he called me the next day. The fill in vet was okay but let me tell you one thing, if you go, make sure Dr. Saleb (sp) is there. He is what makes this a five star place for sure. He even called me the next day with and was so kind. Next time, I want to make sure he's there when I go. He is wonderfully caring, kind, and compassionate. Pros: able to get me in on short notice Cons: Didn't get the regular doc during my visit more

Royal Care and professional attitude. 8/9/2008

\r Our experience with the Vet. Has been the blueprint of what one would want in a vet - client relationship. This Dr is the ultimate blend of skill and kindness -- we cannot say enough good about this vet. He added five years to our diabetic dog's life by carefully training us in the procedures we needed to follow with our pet to keep him living a good life. when my cat ""Smokey "" was ill, I just did not know where to go until I searched and found this wonderful clinic. Where everyone was just fantastic, knowledgable, caring and treated my cat like their own. The Vet. there was very professional and pleasant. Not to mention their prices were very affordable and just perfect for this economy . Now, I know where to go when my Smokey is ill. It is the perfect place for all pet's lovers. more

outstanding care, and very professional team 7/12/2008

I was very fortunate when my cat ""Lovey"" was ill and my mother told me to visit this clinic to examin ""Lovey"""" .who was losing a lot of weight. Honestly, I had never seen a group of people who really care about the pets. The service they provided me was just outstanding, and the doctor was very caring, and reduced my bill significantly to be able to afford caring for my cat. It is the best clinic in OC, and I will always go there as long as I own a pet. Thank you Katella for caring for me when I needed you....... more

I really enjoyed meeting the Dr. and the staff at this clinic, I had such a very pleasant experience in the clinic, excellent Doctor...he understood my cat's problems just by simply giving him her history.., then ordered her some medications, and now, she is doing just wonderful....really I recommend this place to everyone .. more

Exceptional Care 8/22/2007

I currently own a Great Dane "Samson". When my vet retired, I was devistated as he had been my vet for all my prior Danes, including my prior show Champion. Tried out several new vets with no success, until my friend recommended Katella Animal Clinic. Dr. Ray Saleeb and his staff were so loving with Samson (who can be a bit intimidating to look at). Getting appointments were never a hassle. Dr. Ray Saleeb performed surgery on Samson's tail and I was impressed with their professionalism and after care. Fees were always explained in advance - no hidden/surprise charges, or last minute "suggested" treatment to inflate profit. I would highly recommend this facility for the care and treatment of your animal. It is such a relief to finally find again, a Vet who truly cares about your animal, and a staff which is friendly and so very helpful. Katherina more

Very Caring and Outstanding Medical Care 8/10/2007

My husband an I had to travel for our anniversary for 1 week. Left my diabetic cat under the care of Katella Animal Clinic.. They had shown us exact ally what it means to trust.....we came back, his blood sugar was totally controlled, healthy, playful, had increased appetite... and most of all did not want to go home...since he had the royal treatment at the clinic....Not to mention, the hospital is always clean, and has a very welcoming environment....Will never go anywhere else..and will always board my animals there.....Thanks you Katella Animal Clinic for such an awesome job.. more

Very Caring 11/3/2005

This place is amazing My parents had their beloved Shitzu for years and years. She was their "baby" and was treated accordingly. She was about eleven years old, this was three years ago. She was sick and they took her to three different vets. All three gave them the same answer, she was very sick and needed to be put down. They prayed and cried, but knew she was suffering. They went to Katella Animal Clinic and the care this place gave their dog and them.....was the best I've ever heard. After the dog was put down they walked my parents to their car, hugged them and shook their hands. A month later they received a card inquiring how they were doing. more
