If you are looking for quailty daycare, this is NOT the route you should take! Upon initial walk through and being introduced to the daycare, it seems welcoming, and wonderful, but don't be fooled. I was in the market for a structured school that will teach my children, supply healthy meals, as well as provide me daily reports on day to day activity. Kandiland promises you these things but DOES NOT deliver. My child has come home on MULITPLE occasions with excessive rashes in the diaper region due to lack of thorough cleanliness after diaper changing(s), horrible lunch plans (who offers cheetos, cookies and sugar filled items to a menu and calls it ""healthy""?), extremly unorganized, and dishonest! The daycare claims it opens at 6AM, but from experience I can tell you, I have been sitting outside of the facilities on AMPLE occassions awaiting it to open for business; sometimes up until 15 minutes past 6. My favorite thing is when i ask the teacher in the room questions about my childs day (obviously because I didn't recieve a daily report paper) and their favorite line would be ""I don't know, I haven't been in this room"" EVEN the director, doesn't have any answers. \r
Bottom line: Daycare options are very slim in Alvin as far as dependability, comfort, and education but Kandiland is NOT the answer, I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy.
