KU Wichita Internal Medicine Midtown provides primary care services by University of Kansas School of
Medicine-Wichita faculty. Phone Messages; Our faculty and resident physicians are at a number of facilities throughout the week. Our nurses will routinely contact doctors during the day and relay your messages. Unless it is an emergency, expect a response later in the day. While trained to solve puzzling diagnostic problems, the doctors also specialize in treating common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system, and reproductive organs. The physicians teach internal medicine resident physicians, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable clinical skills while providing care to patients.

If you are a new patient,please check in 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. You will need to complete a variety of forms and present your insurance information. We will be happy to submit a claim to your insurance company on your behalf.
Cancellations and No Shows
If you are unable to keep your appointment,we require 24 hours notice of cancellation. To ensure availability of appointments to our patients,we have adopted a “no-show appointment” policy. If you miss three appointments,your physician may review your records to determine if you'll continue to be seen at our clinic.
Referrals
If you have insurance that requires a referral,please call your primary care physician to have a referral mailed to us at 9300 E. 29th Street North,Suite 209,Wichita,KS 67226,or faxed to 316-293-2670. The referral must be received prior to the scheduled appointment. Any charges incurred that are not covered by your insurance company due to lack of a referral will be your responsibility. We require 48 hours advance notice for completion of a referral for visits to other physician offices and emergency rooms. Same-day referrals are available only for emergencies. Our staff will help ensure you are going to the right physician for your insurance plan.
