I recently visited the newly built Just Folk store in Summerland and I'm floored by the attention to detail that went into its construction. It's obvious that owners Susan Baerwald and Marcy Carsey have labored out of a deep passion for unique, whimsical Americana art. The quality and quantity of inventory is impressive (to say the least) and the display is impeccable and completely original. Even if you don't intend to purchase any of their art, a visit to this 2-story wonderland is mandatory if you're in the Santa Barbara area. Bring your artsy friends and plan lunch around it. The Just Folk store itself has convenient underground parking, elevator and an ocean view from the second floor balcony. Art items range from figurines, paintings, sculptures, quilts, and more! Prices range from affordable to extravagant - there are many upscale and exciting pieces to admire!
