Junebug's Towing & Recovery

I would absolutely not recommend Junebug Towing. Marc ripped me and my family off for over $500 because instead of coming when the car was available to tow, he came first thing in the morning and then charged us for all the time he had to wait. I was not able to be present to have the car towed so had to have my dad make arrangements for a friend to meet him. He spent all afternoon basically sitting around and then even asked for a tip. When I confronted him on this, and asked him at least to give me a discounted tow later on, he flatly refused, saying he had to charge that much because he could have been out towing other people. Shady guy who rips off people in disadvantaged situations. I strongly recommend calling someone else! \r more

Marc at Junebug's Towing is a star! He has helped me and any number of my friends with their cars and motorcycles when they need towing and or fixing. My friend recently had two tires die near Alameda and he recommended a shop nearby who could replace the tires, fix the rims and do the towing for a very reasonable price. Marc is such a nice guy that if he thinks you can get a better deal through a closer company, he will recommend them! He knows most of the shops in the east bay, and is an independent tow guy(support the little guys people!!). If you have AAA, he can tow you, but you will need to submit the bill to AAA and have them reimburse you. A bit of a pain, but is better knowing your car is in good hands, and you are supporting a local small businessman. He has a flatbed truck, and if your car is all wheel drive, he knows the right way to tow it- this is really important!! He is a certified wreck master, and a really nice guy.
