The Board of Directors of Judson Metro Volunteer Fire Dept. voted in their November 2011, to declare 2012 the year of New Trucks for JMVFD. We operate entirely on goodwill donations from the community. We are not and ESD (Emergency Service Distirct). This is a capital campaign meant to raise funds to replace our aging fleet which was already used at the time of the initial purchases 5 years ago. The severe wild fire risk which still exists in our district, as well as the recurring repair costs of our aging fleet has made this Truck Campaign of 2012 a serious undertaking and goal for our department.
