We have a few trees and some shrubs that Joshua tree treats several tiems a year. The work is always done well. They also do a very good job of communicating what they will be doing. more

The trees had already been cut down and the stumps needed to be ground. Ivan was a pleasure to deal with and provided good information and was very knowledgeable about the work. All communication was done by email and when I needed to talk to someone it was just one phone call with a quick response. Grinding tree stumps is an unglamorous job with the result being more work to be done including removing the ground up tree stump and adding top soil and planting grass but Joshual Tree provided their part of the work in a timely manner. I had also requested an estimate on removing two trees and the estimate was reasonable but not in the budget at this time. RESPONSE FROM Joshua Tree, Inc.: Ha Frank! Love the way you describe stump grinding as an unglamorous job! It may be, but we take the same pride in a job well done as with a tree that will be there for the next 100 years....thanks for the kudos! more

I have used Joshua Tree for many of my propertys. They are willing to do whatever the customer needs, I look for a company who number one works well with the customer and someone who treats there employees well, this is the company of my choice, they go over and beyond to do anything you need. Outstanding!!! I am truly impressed with every aspect of Joshua Tree's business work ethics and performance. It was easy to set up a visit using their online form, their meeting for an estimate was fast and educational and the work they did on my property was top notch. I priced shop the work in needed done and Joshua Tree beat everyone else's price. The workers did excellent work and they did it safely. We've thoroughly reviewed your comments, spoken with the Certified Arborist who was the first professional on site, and looked at all communication we've had together. As your Arborist shared with you when you expressed your desire to have your tree 'topped', this is detrimental to the tree, and is not a method we'll employ in any situation. And while the process of Crown Thinning was diligently and methodically explained to you, we still regret that the final result is less than pleasing to you. One of the things we've found is that as a little time passes, the greater airflow and improved health and vigor of the tree becomes apparent, and has it's own way of demonstrating this very effective and arboriculturally correct manner of stewardship.
