Jose's Blue Sombrero

Tableside guacamole is a must if you dine here! We've eaten here many times, and enjoy the food. The food is always tasty and fresh, and the atmosphere is great! One of my favorite Mexican places. more

First of all we stood at the Hostes' desk for about 2 mins. before she even looked up and said anything. The seating hostes was about to take us to our table when she sneezed into her hands and then proceeded to grab the menus...did not say one word to us & just placed the menus on the table & walked away! The food was bland and the plates had to returned because the condiments (cheese) amongst others were forgotten to be put on there. We sat there for about one hour before we received our food w/no refills on anything while we waited. Save your $$$ go elsewhere!!!!! Not worth even getting dressed for! more

My finance and I are new to the area and we thought that we would try Jose's for some Sangria and some delicious Mexican style food. To put it simply, it was not good. The sangria tasted like if was simply a bottle of boons farm, no fresh fruit or unique flavor. Our dinners laked flavor, I think that I could find better Mexican style food at taco bell. To make up for the horrible sangria I ordered a vodka tonic, which was basically bottom shelf liquor, with a splash of water and no lime. It was not good. I think that we would of been happier ordering take out pizza and staying in. The money we spent did not even come close to the quality of food that we received. We will not be returning to Jose's again. more

I was excited to try Jose's ever since I heard their commercial for their Tableside Guacamole. We were a tad underdressed for the ambiance of Joses's, the stares of those around us made that obvious. Our waitress Darlene was kind and mostly efficient. We did go the whole meal without refills on our drinks, but our meals were served promptly. I was not impressed with the Black Beans and Shrimp Enchiladas and my husband was equally unimpressed with his Steak Fajitas. Both meals were lacking of flavor and I was very disappointed in the small portions for the toppings. The menu boasted that each dinner came with pico de gallo and other toppings, but there was not enough of any of the toppings to be considered more than plate decorations. I love Tiramisu so when I saw a dessert called Cafemisu that sounded just like Tiramisu I just had to try it. Again, I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. I will definately not be back to Jose's Blue Sombrero. more
