My travel plans take me to NY's capital more times than I care to mention in any given year. When I get the occassion to go out for lunch and I want something easy and GOOD, I go over to Johnathan's Pizza. I grew up in Brooklyn and do not live far from Trenton so clearly I know pizza. When you step into Jonathan's you know your not in Pizza Hut, Papa John's and certainly not cardboard pizza Dominos. Your in a real, Italian owned, operated place a place that aparently has stood the test of time (I think its been in biz since the early 1970's). The pizza is hot, crisp and it does not have that ""jar"" sauce aftertaste. This is a pizza joint not a fast food restaurant. Your served quickly and the food is good. If your not from NY you will appreciate even more the color and charm of this Albany mainstay.
Pros: Its like being back in Brooklyn...
Cons: That I live 200 miles away....
