how can you ask for worse? don't if you can. more

This company is horrible. From the apathetic listing agent to the horrible staff. To be more specific, they do not return calls like they promise, they do not adhere to the deadlines and requirements in the bank's own contracts, they have screwed up on multiple documents and forms and then ask YOU to correct their mistakes. I even tried to get John S on the phone to plead for help, but apparently, he doesn't take calls. I understand REO deals work differently and require more patience, I understand their staff is overworked, but we as buyers are on the other end of the deal counting on everyone to do their job. And if they can't do it, then really, maybe the banks need to find someone else that can. Dear banks, please find a new group to work with that is honest, competent and helpful. more

I would give them a negative star if that were availiable. I can't belive that Banks would even let this group represent them as the listing agent. They are super demanding from thier side and have little to offer from thier end. Ultimately this group mis stated what the house offered and lost me my deal on the house. BUYER BEWARE that this listing group has shady practices. more

I have worked with John S several times and had a pleasant experience with each. I am an investor and have purchased properties over the last 20 years. Working with bank owned homes is much different than a regular seller. The process is a little more intense than a normal transaction. These guys have it down! I've stuck with them because they can navigate through these transactions with a breeze. Other realtors have a hard time and complain about the process and blame it on the listing agent. I guarantee you that you will have a positive experience and a knowledgeable agent on your side in working with this office. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy, butterflies and flowers buying process, buy from a normal seller and pay a higher price! more

My husband and I were forced to deal with this agency and the imcompentent staff to buy a bank owned home. The ""lady"" named Sofia has the WORST customer service skill ever and MUST be related to John in order to keep her job. She didn't answer e-mail, was snippy and self-righteous to our agent, never passed along important information, and almost caused our deal to fall apart, all the while claiming ""we have a cash buyer waiting in the wings if you don't want the house."" I only gave them one star because it forced me too. I wish their was a negative rating available. Avoid these people AT ALL COSTS. more

Recently my wife and I decided to buy our first home, While this is a stressful task in its own . I would strongly recommend staying away from any listings that this agency is tied to. The paperwork always seem to get lost or had to be redone. and when it came time for filing an extension(because they couldnt get their paperwork straight) it was almost pointless. now I know they only represent the seller. There cant possibly be a seller that puts a house up for sale then decides to see how long they can drag out the process. The only time anything got done on their end in a timely manner was once We finally threaten finding a lawyer for failure to perform. I would not recommend listing your home with them or buying a home that is listed with them. just stay away. Almost 6 months to buy a NON short sale home is CRAZY. I would also like to say that this is my first time ever writing a review but felt the whole process should be known to all. Im not one to complain but take our warning STAY CLEAR!!!! more

I loved my experience with Mr. Schlanbusch and the John S Realty team. I felt like I always had someone on my side. Whether it was John or his team, I was always taken care of and my questions were always answered. They called often updating me on what was going on with the sale of my house. My home tracked the whole way to closing and everything was coordinated for me...I didn't have to do anything!! I would recommend the company to anyone needing to buy or sell a home. Pros: great service, wonderful communication, ""team"" concept was great Cons: NONE! more

Horrible service, would not return phone calls, hung up on me, very unprofessional; led to us having to pay an additional $6K to sell our house because they did not take care of something as promised. Cons: Liars more
