John Paul's Studio

I wanted to get my daughter a perm and called around to a few different studios to find the best price. John Pauls was not the closest to my house but since they quoted me a better price I thought it would be worth my time. Boy, was I wrong. When I called they told me that perms are 40 dollars and that the cut was included in the price. After spending three hours there, which is what i expected so that was not a problem, they told me that it was 70 dollars. They charged me 60 for the perm and 10 for the hair cut. I told her what was quoted me on the phone, she said that I was getting a good deal. I am extremely unimpressed at their unprofessionalism. If perms vary based on hair, which makes sense they should have told me the right price when I called and told them about my daughter and her hair, or at least close to it, not only that but they should have at least taken off the price of the hair cut, which they didn't. Instead I walked out of there wishng I would have gone to the salon closesr to my house, because I'm sure they were at least quoting me a correct price and it wouldn't have taken much to beat the servie I had today. I have gone to this particular salon before but I will not go there again. more

Although the stylist was friendly, she was extremely inexperienced. I asked for a trim that turned into a complete hack job. I left there in tears. My hair was completely uneven and choppy. I went to a different salon where the stylest was very knowledgable and honest that my hair was so beyond hope that my mid level length now needed to become a bob to salvage any hope in wearing it down. Now, 6 inches later (after asking for a trim), my hair is all gone. After an hour of arguing with the store owner, I was told that my salvage hair cut would not be reimbursed, he called me a liar and compared me to a scam artist as to why he would not reimburse me. This is the worst customer experience I have ever received in my whole life. I will NEVER go back to this salon and will advise all my friends and family to steer clear.
