Joe and Mimma's Italian Resturant

Just ate there last night, and while I normally go out of my way to share the good points and rarely share bad, the food was just awful. Have eaten in 43 states and 10 countries and I have to say this is the WORST Italian food I have ever eaten. I will be going back to La Bella in Hampton (no affiliation, just great food!). First I tried the Shrimp & Scallops with Votke sause: the sauce was interesting, different, but good, but the fish was fishy and smelled bad. Tried to eat it but after about 5 bites had to send it back. Next I tried the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce has a weird (for me at least) spice that tasted funky, and the meatballs had some sort of filler that made them taste like they were from Sam's Club or BJs. Oh, there is one good thing about that restaurant. My server was Teresa and she was a great waitress, very attentive. more

If you are looking for a nice italian meal for the adults and pizza and subs for the kids then you are going to the right place! Joe and Mimma's family owned and operated resturant is a great place to eat! The meals are priced just right and made just for your order! The staff there are friendly and act just like family! I recommend the steak and cheese sub, the square pizza, the wonderful salads as well as ALL of their pasta dishes! YUM YUM! more
