Jinbeh is located across the highway from Vista Ridge Mall, right next to the Scrapbook Warehouse. It's a Japanese steak house, which means they cook on the hibachi table in front of you, similar to Benihana's. They also have sushi, although I've never done the sushi there.
Unlike Benihana's though, you don't have to wait an hour for a table. They seat 7 people at a table, and begin cooking/serving fairly soon thereafter. Each of the chefs has his own individual style and flair, and they're all fun to watch. Most of them play to any kids at the table, which makes it fun for both kids and parents. The flaming onion volcano is really something to see. The cooking performance, both at your table and others, is really what makes the meal.
The food's good too. Well, the main courses. I'm not a huge fan of the watery soup and the weird salad they start you off with, but those are just fillers till you get to the main dish. Word of advice - get the fried rice. It's *really* good. And if you ever had any illusions that this stuff was maybe good for you, they will be shattered once you see how it's actually prepared. Let's just say there's a lot of garlic butter involved. The lunch special they're running these days is a good deal; you can have 2 choices of meats for 2 people. I'd highly recommend the filet mignon - every time we've gotten it, it's like buttah.
