I called well in advance for a cab to get to an important meeting. They said it was ""on the way."" One hour later I was still being told it was ""on the way."" When I asked what, roughly, does that mean, they said very soon. It arrived nearly two hours after my original call. more

...because I know I'm not using them again. After calling back because the cab was then outside of the 20-minute arrival window, basic information was exchanged since I figured it would assist in looking up in the computer cab position or some such. When it was obvious that I was calling back, the response was, ""You should have told me this was a call back. The cab is on its way"" and hung up. Really? I guess it was my fault for assuming they had some sort of system by which to know where the cabs were so they could reassure *customers* that, ""Oh, I see -- sorry, it looks like the cab hit a bit of traffic on its way to get you, it'll be another two or so minutes."" That would be what GOOD companies do. Do not mistake Jimmy's Cab for a GOOD company. Jimmy's does NOT deserve your business. They deserve a swift kick in the @#$ and a lesson in not only basic manners but Business 101. My only regret is that with City Search, I can't leave a zero star review. more


I made a citysearch account JUST so I could write a review about how terrible jimmy's cab is. I go to towson and there aren't many other cab services to use, so we have to use jimmy's. and they f*cking suck.... they always take forever to arrive and their drivers are reckless and don't speak english. But the WORST is the operators! I called tonight because the cab I ordered wasn't there yet and the operator LITERALLY said to me, ""I'm not God, I don't control who is doing what, people get murdered every day, and you can't control it.."" blah blah I couldn't even follow him but he was basically going off on me. And then he called me a stupid ass and hung up. Whoever runs Jimmy's cab is an awful businessman/woman and need to hire some decent f*cking people. more

On top of that, the drivers do not take the initiative to drive around the local area and familiarize themselves with Baltimore City. One driver had no idea where the Inner Harbor was. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!! more

WORST cab company EVER 4/25/2011

I absolutely HATE Jimmy's cab co. They are the rudest. slowest, most expensive cab company in the area. The only time they are ANY good, is if you have a preset pick up time, and God forbid you change the back home destination. Then, they don't pick you up at all. I've literally waited over an hour for my cab, and when I called back, they said we were supposed to call back after 30 minutes to make sure we still wanted our ride. Screw them. more

Better than Valley or County Cab!!!!! 2/3/2011

Always nearly on time. They call ahead to let you know they have arrived. Valley and County cab have almost got me fired on different occassions because of their lateness to arrive. I only use Jimmy's here in Owings Mills now. more

Their customer service is excellent. Get here right away. Smooth and quick ride. Good price. Very nice drivers and customer service representatives. It's the only cab service I use. Really recommend it to every one!!!!! more

increasingly rude 4/7/2010

I have been using Jimmy's cab for years to get from my grandmother's house in towson to the train station, the airport etc... Increasingly, the people who take the calls are curt at best, flat-out rude more often. this morning, the woman barely spoke to us and now, after FORTY minutes of waiting for a cab, we realize she gave the driver the WRONG address. Perhaps if she had taken the time to actually listen to our address, we would not now be running almost an hour late. if I were trying to catch a train or a flight this morning, I would have missed it. It is totally unacceptable. When someone finally called us back to find out if they had the wrong address, he was equally as rude and just hung up on us with no explanation or apology. So now, after, 45 minutes, we are still waiting. Cons: rude customer service more

Jimmy's Cab is one of the Cab services we use for our guests at the hotel I work as a Front Desk Clerk. Everytime I call the cab for a guest to be picked up I get struck by inconsiderate unproffessional and extremely rude people talking to me. First of all, they don't say neither Hello, nor Goodbye. And I'm not even expecting a ""thank you"" from them. They always hang up on me before I'm done talking, always! And I'm not exaggerating! They interrupt me in the conversation and have no customer service skills. I have never complained, but this is getting too far! Today a person on the phone from Jimmy's Cab interrupted me while I was telling the address and said: You don't have to yell in my ear, I can hear you! then he hang up on me! i don't recommend this cab service to anyone! Let them learn how to speak to clients first! more

It took Jimmy's Cab nearly 45 minutes to pick me up and get me to my destination and over one hour to arrive to pick me up later in the evening. My patience was extremely exhausted and when I asked the dispatcher several times where the Jimmy's Cab corporate office was located, he simply told me the cab was on the way and ""hung up"" on me. I guess the cab service is a good business to be customer service required. Cons: Where do I begin... more
