Jays Jungle

I was referred to Jay's Jungle by a friend who bought a corn snake from them. He said he was impressed with their collection of animals and expertise on a wide variety of things. The people that work here really love coming to work. They love the animals and they want their customers to love their animals just as much. I went to just to get a few inexpensive fish. The associate that helped me wanted to make sure that even their cheapest fish were going to have adequate care in their new home. I didn't feel pressured into buying anything, in fact, she recommended not to bother buying the tiny bottles of fish food. She told me I could get a great deal just buying from their bulk supply of flake food and getting more food for less than it cost to buy the little bottle. My fish love it. more

This shop is great for most pets. I buy almost all my fish there. The prices are reasonable and the fish seem to stay alive longer. They have a large variety of aquarium products. They also have a good selection of items for reptiles. They have the best price I have found in the area on mealworms. The one problem I have is the way the small rodents are housed. The guinea pigs, as with the other animals, are housed in wire cages, which can hurt their feet. They also never seem to have enough hay or vegetables. Otherwise, this is a good pet store to buy animals and supplies from. more
