I'm giving Jason's a 5 star for last night's dinner. Service was on pointe. Our ribs were delicious fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce was perfect. In addition the salad bar was fresh, beautifully presented and varied. Jason's is one of our favorite places to visit when we are in Tahoe. It has a neighborhood bar feel with great food and ambience. more

I hadn't been to Jason's for at least 15 years and I remembered it had been a fun place to have a beer and burg on the patio during the summer. We went on the last night of our recent (oh so brief) north shore visit and was very pleased that it still measured up. The weather was not conducive to a patio meal as the snow was on approach so we were inside at a nice corner booth. The inside is casual nice, wooded, and warm without being too ""mountain cabin' kitchy. The gal who took our order was very personable, attentive and fast. We ordered a few drinks and hit the salad bar. The salad bar (a must add to your entree) is extensive - think Souplantation type of selections - so make sure you are hungry. My hubs ordered the large cut prime rib dinner - the portion was huge and tender and he gave it a 2-thumbs up. The cajun salmon was equally yummy and the portion was very large. As was mentioned in another review, the prices are a bit higher - $15-25. The small bar had MNF and the playoff games on TV and the crowd seemed to be locals having a good time. I would most definitely plan on a Jason's outing the next time we are in the area. more

Jason's Beachside Grille is the best! Right on the beach, you can sit outside and just relax while you eat or drink. The salad bar is very good. The service is always top notch, Love this place, go to Tahoe often and always eat here! more

Their burgers were HUGE and mouth watering. They are made of 100% prime beef and came with a side of beer battered fries. The fries alone were delicious, they are by far the best fries I've ever tasted. It was very nice and elegant in side but in reality its a very casual place. For the high quality of the food we received we paid less than $30 for two people for dinner and dessert. You get a lot for your money. Eat the burgers here, best ones in town! more

I had the pleasure of dining here with my family recently. The hostess was quite courteous and friendly, and was happy to seat us outside on the deck with a lovely view. Our waitress was prompt and had an stellar personality! She was as welcoming as could be and right away managed to be comfortable with us, yet she remained professional. One member of party has severe food allergies, and though the waitress wasn't sure which items were safe, she volunteered to check with the chef. It caused a slight delay, but we are very used to this when we go out to eat. The meal was a great success. Tip: The salad bar was amazing; don't miss it! more

Jasons beach side grille is our favorite restaurant in North Lake Tahoe we come every time we go to Lake Tahoe. If you sit on the patio the views of lake Tahoe are spectacular. They have a nice selection of beer and wine. The lunch menu differs slightly from the dinner menu as i found out one time we came for dinner and i could not order my favorite Bandito burger, not to worry there still was a plethora of choices that suited our taste buds. If you come for winter they may have their circular indoor fire pit going which is a nice place to warm up. The inside has a very cozy personal feel. Food is great tho i have never had anything other than a burger or a sandwich cause i have never found it necessary to venture. more

I had the best prime rib of my life here. Incredible - tender, seasoned just right. WOW! Their beer batter french fries and onion rings are amazing. Our friend had the macadamia crusted halibut and loved it. Pepper steak was a little too peppered, so beware. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. We came for lunch as well and the burgers were incredible. The view is great, too, right by the lake. more

The food was excellent and the beer ice cold. Not to mention the service and courtesy was spot on. Oh ya and the view what an amazing way to end a beautiful kayak experience with another amazing view of the lake.. Highly recommend. I had the fish taco which was awesome and the fries are to die for. more
