DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! On August 23, 2013 I called Jackson Pools & Spas in DuQuoin, Illinois (where we purchased our hot tub) and talked to Hailey (sp). I explained to her that the hot tub that we bought from their store in December, 2012, that the cover has a hole/rip in it. She told me that I needed to talk to Karen, she wasn’t there, but she would have her call me. She took my name and phone number. No return call from anyone. On August 29, 2013 I called the DuQuoin store again. I again talked to Hailey. Hailey quoted “Karen was supposed to call you on Saturday, she promised she would call, I will have her call you”. She took my name and phone number. No return call from anyone. On September 4, 2013 I called the West Frankfort, Illinois Jackson Pools &Spas store and talked to Dave. I told him I was getting no cooperation from Karen at the DuQuoin store and I needed to get my hot tub cover taken of. He told me to e-mail a photo of the hole/rip of the hot tub cover to him, which I did that day, with my name and phone number. On October 14, 2013 I have heard nothing from anyone regarding my hot tub cover so I called the West Frankfort store at 11:39 a.m. and talked to Dave and explained to him that I sent him a photo of my hot tub cover back in August and have not heard anything from anyone about it. He told me “I got it, but you need to talk to Karen at the DuQuoin store, she handles all the warranty work”. I told him I do not want to deal with her because she WILL NOT return my calls. He said “call her, she is there right now, she is the only one there and she will talk to you and handle it”. So I called the DuQuoin store at 11:41 a.m. Joe answered the phone. I asked for Karen. He said “she is not here, she will be back in about 15 minutes”. I asked him to have her call me. He took my name and phone number. No response from anyone. I need my hot tub cover replaced and obviously, I am not getting any cooperation from Jackson Pools & Spas. It is obvious that I will not get a return call from anyone at Jackson Pools & Spas. I’m thinking it could be for the fact that this past spring we did some business with them regarding our swimming pool and it was a nightmare and after the third episode of disasters (and the time and money that they caused us), I told Karen we will never buy anything from them again (which we haven’t and never will). Coincidence? Probably not. In fact, ever since I told her that that day… she would not return any of my calls regarding the swimming pool episodes. I would always have to call her. Again, coincidence…probably not. more
