Jack Rabbit Storage

Alice and Mike really knew their stuff! We had many questions for them regarding regular storage versus climate controlled storage - do we really need it? They showed us several different size units to pick from, the lot was very well kept (clean) and they offered us many extras including the sign up of a truck. Very professional people...we will recommend them to friends and family. TY! more

Best storage place in VA Beach! I call and I always get a person who is pleasant to deal with on the phone. The storage lot is always clean, open for most of the day and I feel safe storing my things there. I love the fact that they provided a moving truck free of charge! Thanks! Kev. more

Husband and I needed a larger space to store stuff from our 4 bedroom house until we moved into our new house. The manager at this location helped us choose a good size unit for the right price (and no we didn't need climate control...it's overrated). We were impressed with the service, rental rates and cleanliness...overall a good choice for us. more

I rented a 10x20 storage locker over the summer and had a great experience. When I returned from overseas, I found that the car battery on my Tahoe had died while my car was in storage. I walked to the office hoping to call a cab and to my surprise, the manager volunteered to help me jump-start my car. It's nice to see someone go the extra mile for a customer these days. No one explained the use of the ""free"" truck before giving them my $. After driving up there on 3 seperate occassions to get the correct info on ALL of the documents needed I was overly frustrated being in the process of moving. I was shown at least 6 different units (all stating they were the same size but they were NO where near the same.) Most of the units were dirty and wet inside. I was told I could get a refund having not even used the unit but it would be issued by check and mailed to me...literally....whenever I get it. There is NO corporate office to contact and the manager on site provides no helpful information. It has been 2 weeks and still NO $! All Jack Rabbit says is ""we sent it."" The facility does not have guards as the site states and the coded exit NEVER closes! You must pay for gas in your ""free"" truck and dont expect the ""free"" lock if you don't ask. The home office was rude and didn't even bother to introduce herself with name and position...I could've been talking to the manager's mom. Went to MiniPrice storage...offered same itemms...much cleaner and more secured facility. DO NOT USE JACK RABBIT. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG...YOU WILL GET NO HELP FROM THEM!!! more
