I'm incredibly surprised that I'm the first to review J. Lindeberg. Hello people! J. Lindeberg is great. Nothing suits me better than a slim Swedish silhouette, luxe fabrics, and a convenient location.
The staff there are quite friendly. Greeted me at the door -- like all stores normally do -- but also, they were very complimenting. I guess its my charm. One of the guys behind the counter complimented my jacket, which I thought was sweet. They were just nice. Chatted with them for a little bit, and then I was on my way out. Had to get going. Grabbed a business card.
This is one of my favorite stores in SoHo. It is very simple and sophisticated, very Swedish. I comfortably browsed without feeling pressured, and the staff was also very helpful. Another bonus was the reusable zip top tote they use as shopping bags. Will definitely have to go back soon!
Lots of black, gray, deep blues, with hints of color here and there. Isn't that Club Monaco? Not so. Come check out some premium Swedish designed and tailored clothes, the ones that H&M so subtly copy, at J. Lindeberg's store down in SoHo. Beautiful men's dress shirts in solid colors and dense patterns, and fitted cashmere and wool jackets for the slender lad. The clothes emphasize the silhouette, and do not shout ""I spent a hell of a lot of money on this!"" - I'm lookin' at you, Paul Smith. Prices go with the quality.
