JOANN Fabric and Crafts

he manager of this store is horrendous.. A very nasty male who got sadistic glee out of telling me he wont let me return a item I bought for the price I paid for it..So I called 800 customer service and they said the store is incorrect for doing this..So I went back into the store and the rude girl who waited on me before I got the manager did the same thing..Then she called the manager who made me wait 15 minutes before he walked over to me and kept giving me exaggerated dirty looks, then gleefully said he wasnt going to help me and shoved the item at me and demanded I leave the store. . I had to call customer service again and am still waiting for a response.. In all the years I bought things from this store I never returned anything other than 1 item with a receipt..Today was the 2nd time in 9 years and because I didnt have a receipt I got hell over it. more

I use to love this store but lately the service has been awful. I went to get my fabric cut and waited for 5 min before anyone talked to me. Then a customer comes up and yells so they let her ahead of me. Other times the employees have complained about their jobs rather then helping with questions. I'm done with this store. more

I am an avid crafter and frequent Jo-Ann's weekly. While its location and selection is great, I rarely have a positive experience with the employees- if I can ever find one. Pros: Selection Cons: Customer Service, prices more

This is a great big dream store for the craft enthusiast. It has everything for kids crafts and home decorations to the upper level with sewing supplies and patterns. \r \r The store is well organized, well-lit, clean and they usually have some pretty good sales, especially if you catch the end of season clearance up front.\r \r They offer classes too on how to actually do the crafts. \r \r The workers are usually cheerful and they are good about calling up additional cashiers when the lines get long. more

This store is huge! 2 stories with an elevator! They have so much more than just fabric. Decorations, frames, costumes, gift things. I always go here for any craft items or scrapbooking needs. The staff is great and the selection is outstanding. The prices are good, but especially with the coupons or sales. more
