Our experience with J & S Landscaping was very positive. They helped us with one very large project and since then, I have used them to help with my sprinklers. Their workers show up early, work efficiently, and are helpful in answering our questions. We've had no complications with their landscaping. more

J & S Landscaping has landscaped maybe six of my properties over the years, going back to 1986. So, I've been a long-time customer. I have found them to be courteous, competitive, and extremely professional. I have nothing but the highest regard for them because they stand behind their product and their people seem to be first class. I wouldn't use anyone but them. more

I called up J & S Landscaping for some work since they had done the original landscaping. They came over right away and gave me a bid that was less than the other place I was looking at. It was less than it would have been for me doing the work on my own. They showed up on time, they completed everything, and they did exactly what they said they would do. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and seamless they were, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. They always returned all my calls and followed through and I appreciated that. more

We hired J & S Landscaping for the first time last summer and continue to use them for some projects now. The experience has been good. They show up on time which is unusual for a landscaping company. Their scheduling is great. One day, one of the guys shows up and tells us it's supposed to frost tonight so we should turn off our sprinklers. J & S Landscaping is always proactive like that. They also sent us a calendar that helps us manage our own landscaping. They're very good at education. They stay in touch with your needs and provide good information. It's a really good service and you can tell they like what they're doing. more

Mike was very responsive, knowledgeable, and generous with his time. 3/1/2013

J & S Landscaping cleaned out a pond I had inherited. They were very meticulous and did a great job. They taught me a lot about taking care of the pond and what I needed to do. The only reason I didn't give a 5 on the first rating is because I also had an estimate done for outdoor lighting and it was too much out of my price range. Mike was a fun person to work with though. more

My wife is fairly difficult and Scott was very patient with her. We had several large rocks on our property, several of which needed to be removed, and they took care of it. The workers were great. They were extremely patient and they did a really good job. more

They did a pretty major overhaul for us last summer. I was impressed that they did it right. Mike was always available to stop by and take a look at things. He asked what we wanted, and if we wanted something done differently it was no problem, even if they had to re-do it. more

Stress-free, I'm very happy with the work 2/13/2013

J & S Landscaping has done quite a few things for me. They have built a walk-way with pavers, they dug out a window well and terraced that, and they put in six or eight tress for me. They come in, work hard, and get the job done in time. They are always polite and clean up after themselves. I couldn't ask for me and I wouldn't call anybody else. more

They worked very well for us 1/31/2013

We built a new house so we need to start landscaping from scratch. J & S Landscaping was very attentive and attuned to our needs. They have us some ideas and came back with a plan. It was all done in color and matched our wants and our budget. We checked out some other companies but decided to go with them. They put us on their schedule and even managed to bump us up earlier than expected. When the work started, they just went to town! We brought in lots of dirt to add contours to the yard and shield it from the road. The way they put it all together was great. Things wend very quickly which was almost unnerving for us. But it worked out great. They've assured us that they will be keeping an eye on it for a year. They will make sure the plants make it and take care of the maintenance. more

Great service and highest integrity, wonderful staff 4/30/2012

We have known and worked with Mike Woods for 20-plus years but had lost contact. What a great surprise to find him again at J&S, plus get Scott in the package as well. We had a very large project. One subcontractor did very poor work-Scott made it right. He did not have to do this "contractually" but he went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed-when was the last time someone did that for you? We continue to work with J&S for annual maintenance-and will use them anytime we need outside work done. They are the best. more

I have had J & S do several jobs for me including: designing and installing a patio, rebuilding rock walls and landscaping in my front yard and removing and replacing trees. Their service and timelessness has been excellent and I have found them very creative, honest and easy to work with. more

Excellent score for Mike & his crew at Chapman's. 3/28/2012

I live next door to the Chapman's of Ft.Collins. I have watched Mike & his team work almost everyday for 3 weeks. They are just plain wonderful, polite, curteous,very neat (they sweep everything at the end of the day). They have transformed the yard into a work of art, the designs,treatments,color & rocks/boulders are beautiful. They are very good to the neighbors too. Excellent company! more

Loved their Work 3/24/2012

My husband and I wanted a concrete walkway to run the length of our house from front to back. Mike Woods from J&S came by to take measurements and give us a quote. The price was quite reasonable compared to others and the price of the job never varied. The crew did a fantastic job. They prepared the area properly, sloped everything away from the house and even ran drain pipe lines under the walkway into a drainage trench along the property line and put in a clean-out access. The concrete form was sturdily built, rebar tied in through out and the concrete itself was finished off beautifully. The crew also hauled away all the debris, river rock and two huge ugly landscaping rocks we had blocking the pathway. The work was done in short order and the guys cleaned up so well after themselves that it was as if they had never been there; except for our new walkway. We love it and would highly recommend J&S Landscaping to anyone and also plan on using them for future projects. more

Top Notch! 3/14/2012

J&S did the original landscape design seven years ago on a house I purchased last year, including a fairly complex drip system under the entire yard. They made several trips out to review the operation and functionality of the system with me, at no cost. The original design work is beautiful and I have used Scott and Mike for several additions, as well as maintenance work Crews are professional and the work is done right. I have been very satisfied and would not hesitate to use J&S for any landscape work. more

Best landscape contractor we've ever used. 3/14/2012

J&S may at first glance appear more expensive than their competition, but it's true that you get what you pay for. From design through completion, their attention to detail and quality result in a beautiful but practical landscape. They responded quickly and without question to replace plants or trees that did not do well in the first year. They continue to provide excellent service to our waterfalls, ponds and irrigation systems. more
