Our Favorite Steakhouse in OP!! They offer great food, atmoshere and wine selection! Highly recommend!

mediocre at best. average steak, slow service, overpriced for what you get.

Great resturant - Highly suggest for a romantic evening. If it is a birthday or anniversary - call and make res, tell them of your occasion and they will decorate your table with happy birthday, ect . confetti. Intimate setting. Pros: Friendly servers, Good wine knowledge, great steaks Cons: little expensive, only open til 10p, long wait w/o reserv. more

Best Steak 7/26/2002

One of K.C.'s best, often over looked restaurants. The atomosphere is comfortable. The service is always excellent, and the food is out of this world. I strongly recommend the K.C. Strip with the augraten potatoes. If you do not mind spending a little money for great food and service, J.Gilbert's is well worth the experience. Pros: Food, Service, Atomosphere Cons: Price more

Romantic Steak Lovers 7/23/2002

In my opinion, J. Gilbert's has always given the best steak, service and atmosphere around. If your out to impress a date or celebrate with the one you love - this is the place! We've always enjoyed dinner, wine and split a luscious dessert for around $100.00 which includes the tip! We have yet to be disappointed and we've been going for years and plan to go many more.
