J F Pizzeria & Restaurant

I ordered a chicken parm sub and a pepperoni slice for my son. When I went to leave, the bag with the pizza in it felt very light. So I looked inside. The slice was tiny! I went back up to the counter to tell the owner, "This slice is pretty small for $3.00" He threw his arms up and practically yelled at me, "That is a regular size slice!!" Poor way to treat a customer. Then when I got home and opened the sandwich, almost all the cheese was stuck to the the tin foil. I tried a bite of my son's pizza. It tasted like raw dough. The only compliment I can give is the taste of the chicken cutlets in the sandwich were quite good. Despite this, I won't be going back to J F Pizza, mostly because I was so disgusted with the treatment I received from the owner. more

I don't know what else to say! They have been in business for 36 yrs! That says a lot! I grew up on j/f! I eat there 3 times a week! No one else compares! It's even better now! Renovated and refreshed by the nex generation! How beautiful is that? more

I work in Newburgh and my office orders from J & F all the time..Today I ordered a chicken roll..What was sent was beyond the worst I have ever in my life seen or smelled..It looked, smelled, and was in my opinion old chicken soup drained and cooked in pizza dough. In fact there was even carrots in it..Now you tell me on what planet does a chicken roll have boiled chicken with carrots ? And then tell me thats the way it's made...Really !!!!! Please don't insult my Italian intelligence I will never order from this place again more

I stop at J & F's whenever I have the chance. Their pizza is better than anything you'll find in the Town of Newburgh or New Windsor. The thin crust and the sauce are what makes this place stand out. It's nothing fancy, believe me, but the pizza, garlic knots and those beef patties they sell are the best. more

I think J F Pizza is the best pizza in Newburgh. Most other places I have tried burns the bottom of the pizza but I've never ahd that problem at J F. Also, the cheese they use is very good and I always get it hot. Try not to go during work hours or rush hour as Broadway gets very packed and parking is almost impossible. more
