I will never step foot in another JB Robinsons or Kay Jewelers. I had an extremely minor repair only 7 months after I purchased a 14 kt. gold necklace. It was something I have never seen happen to any jewelry in 50 years. It was clearly a flawed piece, but they wouldn't fix it because I hadn't bought the ""warranty."" Years ago, there was no such thing as a warranty because quality was inherent. Now it seems they make things so shoddily that they'd have too many repairs to do for free, so they sell warranties and make money on that, too. It would have cost them about $10 and 30 second to fix my pendant, but they ignored my plea. I guess they don't need my business or yours, because with this kind of customer service, they will have many unsatisfied customers. Don't be one of them.
