Terrible! Two people got sick eating the same dinner. hair in food. "No kidding"! Service ok at best. No credit cards. Yo Izzie, pay your taxes like everyone else. Will NEVER return. Will NEVER recommend Izzie's to anyone. more

I am sorry, but I can't join in on the bandwagon of everyone telling us how "great" this place is. Went the 1st time, and got undercooked burgers on stale Kaiser rolls. Could have been something I was served at John Doe's backyard - nothing special. Went back, and my Dad had the "Early Bird" special which advertised "Crab Cakes" on the menu. Cake(s) - as in plural. He got one measly little crab.....ball...like a hushpuppy in size. Oh, and they charged an extra buck for mashed potatoes as opposed to fries or onion rings because.....I dunno - part of the customer harassment program? Service was not so good, especially after I told our waiter my father didn't get "Crab Cakes." He told me that was the "Early Bird", despite what the menu specified.....so there! Got the check and got out of there. Won't be back again anytime soon. more

Six women had dinner for girls night out.When the waitress brought the water glasses,she accidently spilled the glasses from the tray on two of the women.They were drenched and one had an open designer bag filled with water and ice.It was a very chilly winter night.Needless to say,they were uncomfortable,but good sports about the situation.To our surprise,when the check arrived they didn't even offer us free coffee.We spoke to the manager, and their reply was it was an accident.Two of the women pursued the issue.One called and one wrote a letter to the owner and both were ignored.Her water stained handbag reminds us never to venture back and to convey their rudeness to all.The food was generous in portion but very fair tasting. more

We just attended a christening at Izzie's. The food, service, and overall quality deserves 5 stars! If you enjoy well prepared foods in a variety of cuisines, including seafood, steak, and Italian specialties, beautifully presented by a competent and friendly staff, got to Izzie's. more

Good: service was a little inattentive and preoccupied with other things . Should have know something was up usually a very very busy place but this time very little customer to keep them busy.. Bad: the new menu and the so called tapas still food section. Improvements: go back to you old menu and old prices. Other: use to go to the old issy's at least 3 times a month . Went there for my birthday and was very disappointed in the menu and size of the chicken crocket or sorry i meant the crab cakes just seem to remind me of chicken crocket size. Did not like the every thing was now side dishes and a lot more price for a smaller amount . Ask for there famous garlic mashed potatoes was given seemed like box potatoes regular no garlic there.. more

I've been a patron of Izzie's for years but have been disappointed since they moved to a bigger location. Yes, the quality service is still there, but the quality of food has gone down hill. I love the crabcake platter. It's their biggest seller. Although good, the price has gone up and the size of the crabcake has become smaller. My two sides broccolini and garlic roasted potatoes were dripping in butter and loaded with salt. This seems to be a common occurrence. As a person who leads a healthy lifestyle, I will not eat food loaded with added fat. Yes, I will still patronize. It's better than fast food, but I will not visit as often. It's just disappointing when I know how it used to be. more

To find this hidden jewel was a great surprise. Everything was superb from service to selection of menu and the food was simply to die for. very enjoyable and for a good price too. We'll be back over and over and with guests as well. Excellent service and the quality of the food was outstanding. Nothing on the Jersey Shore even comes close to this eatery!!!!!! If you want a gourmet meal then this restaurant will suit you fine. It is located in Medford where it is very beautiful and quiet. The last time I was here I had salmon that was wonderfully buttery. The salads are also quite tantalizing as well. So you will have a glorious meal at Izzys without breaking your wallet, more

We had heard so much about this small restaurant that we had to try it. It is tucked away in a small strip mall off of Stokes Road. We went on a busy Saturday night and only had to wait a short time for a table. The crab cakes we had heard so much about were amazing - all crab meat, no filler. Also the fried shrimp were good as well. We decided not to stay for dessert, but after hearing the selections, we quickly changed our mind. The brownie sundae and rice pudding were the perfect ending to this meal. Definitely try it. more
