Best Pizza In Town 2/11/2005

It doesn't get much better than It's A Beautiful Pizza. After moving across the street, the city of Portland charged the business over $20,000 in ""moving"" fees. It wasn't fair, so we frequent the place even more. They serve great pizza, and the atmosphere is great too. The pies are topped with anything you can imagine and you can order custom slices along with buying what's waiting there. There are also some solid sandwiches and a delicious salad. They also have a number of microbrews on tap. Highly reccomended. Pros: Great Pizza, Great Atmoshpere Cons: Tough Parking more

Not Recommended 2/5/2005

Terrible !! We ordered take out for after the superbowl and it was way below average pizza. The tomatoes, although plenty (actually way too many) wer like cardboard. They covered the top with too much nasty tasting garlic (garlic goes under the cheese, not on the very top) and the crust was burned on the edges but soggy in the middle. Great food, good value 5/6/2004

I really like pizza, and I love 'Beautiful' pizza. The slices are really nice, the whole pizzas are LOADED with toppings and end up being a lot for your buck (especially for gourmet pie). Great relaxed atmosphere, fits perfectly in the southeast. Wonderful micro beer selection. Pros: menu options, friendly service more

What Gives!? 4/27/2004

I've had a lot of pizzas in my life, probably at least 1500 slices, hundreds and hundreds of pies, and this pizza was (unfortunately) the most dissappointing. I really, really wanted to like it because the guy at the register was really nice. All the proportions are backwards. My advice to the pizza makers: half as much dough, half as much cheese and toppings, and MUCH MORE SAUCE! This was the driest pizza I ever tasted and I had to spread canned sauce all over the top when I got home just to be able to eat it. Please consider updating your proportions.
