I use reviews when finding new places so have started giving reviews myself. I logged on to review IDT as this is truly a fantastic studio. We tried several and stuck here as the staff were amazingly welcoming, professional, warm to my child and clearly had a load of talent and skill to share, not just as dancers but as teachers as will. more

Love everything about Issaquah Dance Theater. Owner Alicia has created such a special place. We have two little girls -- one outgoing and one a bit shy (at first) --both have done beautifully under the direction of the teachers that help each of our daughters grow in their own unique way. The studio has a warm and inviting atmosphere and we love getting to peak in the windows during class and watch our babes. The recitals happen twice a year and they are so well done. We've started a new family tradition with them. Our entire crew (Grandparents, nieces, nephews, aunts etc) look forward to coming to the shows and then going out for post-show treats! All I can say is that the bad reviews are not accurate! Issaquah Dance Theatre ALWAYS starts their classes on time, and get out on time, too! Amazing staff, great place to dance. 5 easy stars! more

Issaquah Dance Theatre is an exceptional studio. It is rare to find such a high level of ballet training combined with a positive and nurturing environment for the dancers. This studio is for families looking for a fun class for their child or for the family looking for a studio for their advanced dancer. Pros: Exceptional dance training, positive environment. more

I have twin 10 yo girls that have been dancing here since they were 4 years old. In this time we have watched one of my daughters grow into a gifted dancer who might really have a future in dance! She's now competing in dance and keeping up with anything the older dancers can do (proud mom!). My other daughter has autism and is totally accepted here. She is doing ballet and jazz, not quite at the level of her twin, but loving every minute of it and really getting a lot more than just dance lessons out of her experience. IDT has bent over backwards to accept her and accomodate her needs! I will never forget that. more

I have been taking classes as issaquah dance theatre for a while now in all forms, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hiphop... being a student i find the teachers are very encouraging and the staff is great. Everyone at the studio is really nice and we do some great choreography! Overall a fantastic studio! more

My kids have been with this studio for many years. The teachers have both challenged them and nurtured them. They have been encouraged to be their very best. They have made many friends. And this is a studio where even if you don't have that perfect Ballet body, you are still encouraged to dance to all of your ability. Some studios will either ignore you or discourage you if you aren't thin-thin and have perfect turn-out. The class fee structure is no more or less than the competition. They have had difficulties this year with poor front office staff. Happy to say that that has been resolved and so I expect that parents that have been frustrated in the past, will have a much more positive experience when dealing with the front office. Overall, I give this studio a two thumbs up. Happy dancers, great learning environment. Pros: Great teachers, Great facilities, Non-Competitive Cons: getting pretty popular - lobby gets crowded more

had bad experience there, unprofessional staff, the only interest for them is charging money and providing less service; classes never start on time, and dismiss earlier than schedule and classes are cancelled without notice. Cons: worst ! more
