Best 3D Rollercoaster 8/5/2002

Spiderman is the best of both worlds. Little bit of a coaster ride with 3D effects. But sit in the front row of the ride (makes the effect all the better). The HULK is my favorite rollercoaster of all time. Short but definately not simple. Your on the go as soon as they strap you in - accelerating at speeds most people wish their personal vehicles would do. Best part is you have citywalk and good ole universal in walking distance. Pros: spiderman, hulk, citywalk Cons: expensive, crowded at times, long waits at times more

A thrilling Adventure! 8/4/2002

one of the most thrilling adventures ever was my trip to Islands of Adventures! It had so many different things to do there. You had such a big selection! Rides were amazing, and the food was fantastic! Thank god i have family in Orlando so I can go back whenever I get half the chance! more

I think it's fun place. But a little too pricey. They need to enlarge the park for the prices they are charging. I liked the different section/themes of the park. The rides are fun. But, the lines too long. more

Islands of Adventure definately lives up to all the hype! Between the five islands there is so much to do and the fun never stops. Adventures for ALL ages! 7/26/2002

I love this place! I was there back in '99. I had wished to brought a video camera so I could show everyone what it was like - also so they could here the music. You feel like you're in the comics, Jurassic Park & in Dr Seuss's books! If possible, I'd go there every year. I'm an adult and can't even get enough of Islands of Adventure!!! Great Rides 7/24/2002

The Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Spiderman and Jurasic Park. They all add up to a great time. The staff is much more friendly and helpful than Disney's. more

My children are 7 & 10. IOA is a perfect place for tkids their age!! The way the park is set up, you don't have to walk to get to the kids aera. The kids area is all over the park!! Pros: easy access, good planning Cons: expensive food more

Theme park perfection 7/22/2002

The ""Magic"" has left the ""Kingdom"" and now illuminates Islands of Adventure. Best rides, best shows, best sites, in one word this park is perfect. Islands of Adventure has flawlessly filled the roller coaster breach in Orlando, and has the most technically advanced rides in the world! It's no wonder how they've won so many theme park awards. I've been to over 50 amusement parks. Islands of Adventure blows them all away. Theming, rides, characters are all outstanding. How could anyone not love this place? Pros: elaborate theming, personel friendly, good attractions more

Easily the Best 7/17/2002

Orlando is a great place to vacation, and Islands of Adventure is easily the best theme park in Orlando. The reason I say so is because it is not geared toward only children, as the Disney parks are. Both adults and kids will have a blast at IoA, there is a great mix of thrill rides and attractions which offers something for everyone. I would recommend going in the off season. We went in November a couple years ago and the line waits were no more than 10 minutes. Conversely, we went during Spring Break week this year and the waits were hours (unless you had a 'speed pass'). Cons: Long lines more

Unicorm ride was intense 7/15/2002

Both parks are good and it is easy to ride all the rides in one day. If your planning on going in october, its going to be just as bad. The park closes at 7. In the summer at 10. Most people who live in orlando wouldn`t consider going to the parks in the summer but, its much better to go. First of all, the park closes much later and theres those fast passes and single riders which only cut off 45 mins. of waiting time. But u shouldn`t get a fast pass for dueling dragons, spiderman, or the cat in the hat. The scenery is wonderful. The unicorn ride amaze me because it seemed a little intense for a young child. Anyway, you have to ride the hulk! Popeye, spiderman, dueling dragons, jurassic park, are a must. Dr. doom is okay... more

Best Roller Coaster 6/3/2002

Islands of Adventure for the whole family. Big kids can have fun on the Green Hulk. Ride must be the first ride you go on when you arrive at park. Front of the ride is the best. Secret about the ride, which I will not share. Suggested when the ride starts hold on. Spider Man ride for children & Adults. Every Island there has a favorite ride. Bring extra closet, you will be wet in Island of Comic Strip. Do not forget the Dueling Dragons. My mother hates Roller Coasters & we got her on the ice dragon, let's just says she will not trust her kids again. Fire & Ice, must ride the front to get the full effect. See the show at Sinbad. The kids will love the fire & water. Sit in the middle & in front. Pros: Rides, Resturants, Something for everyon Cons: Parking, Crowds, Expensive more
