I just started renting from this company, but they have been WONDERFUL so far.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!!!\r \r IREMCO (also known as Timber Run Condominiums)\r \r Horrible, horrible, horrible company. Very dishonest. Shady, lies, deceit, blackmail tactics, price gouging - you name it. I implore any and all potential customers to RUN FOR THEIR LIVES! \r \r These people lie and steal money. I broke a lease after 4 1/2 years of solid, timely and consistently paid rent. They charged me not only to break the agreement ($1072.50) but said I would be forfeiting my security deposit ($695) as well (a total of $1767.50) which, reluctantly, I agreed to pay. Then IREMCO sent me a cleaning bill for NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! $900. Seriously. After they already took the $695 security deposit (which covers cleaning, incidentally). And there were no damages to the property - just a simple vacuuming and basic cleaning required. Which, I assumed of course was being deducted from the $695 security deposit. \r \r As soon as I found out they were going to charge me MORE money for the cleaning, I stated (several times) that I would clean the condo at my expense. They did not return calls or emails and suddenly sent me a non-itemized cleaning bill for the $900 additional. And if I didn't pay up, they'd send me to collections AND ruin my credit by reporting to the credit bureaus. Absurd, ridiculous, unethical and immoral. Just plain wrong. Bad company, am considering a lawsuit, have contacted the MO Attorney General's Office, and have filed a BBB report and will register as many complaints possible in every conceivable forum.\r \r AGAIN...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! \r \r Peter K more

DO NOT EVER!!!!! RENT OFF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r I am in the process of trying to get a class action lawsuit filed against IREMCO for fraud slander and libel. I rented at Lavinia Gardens for 3 years and could not afford another apartment and complained monthly about problems with the apartment and the property manager. They never fixed any problems such as leaked sink and hot water heater problems( spitting out boiling hot water when you turn it or when you try and get hot water its ice cold. Also had mold that they would not fix and several other issue and they would come into my apartment almost weekly without my permission and complained about that to. When my lease was i was trying to find another apartment and they allowed me to go month to month for $50 extra and when i moved out they did a walk through and signed off on the apartment that it was in good condition and months later sent me a collection notice $2400 form United Credit and Collections stating that i had a past due balance and damages to the apartment. more

I am on the fence about this company. The manager in charge of my property seems nice enough..but some of the crap they do is a little sideways. For example..they have contract with an exterminator, I believe the notice said 2 units per month will be treated. TRIAL ERROR FOLKS! My unit has NEVER had more bugs in it than it does now. My unit has yet to he treated leaving me to believe the critters are being ""chased"" unit to unit ie roaches, brown recs etc..I have a baby..this is not alright. They are generic, my property is small and they do not know any of us and ALOt of us have been here for a while. To be honest I am a little disappointed in our owner for hiring them. No major maintenance issues to report but I am diligent in keeping up my home and keeping it nice. My walls are flat and with a small child they are filthy so I can't clean then w/ o removing paint. \r In a nut shell I am not dissatisfied with my property but I can assure you I will not renew my lease and will avoid Iremco in the future. And I feel sorry for my neighbors that wont be able to afford to move. I can already see the decline in the tenant quality here. more

I was a recent tenant of IREMCO, and implore all individuals searching for an apartment, to steer clear of this management company. Their management greatly lacks in interpersonal skills and I am currently going through a law suit with these individuals, because they refused to call me after I turned in my keys. To explain in detail, I signed a 2 year contract with IREMCO. After my contract expired, I promptly moved out within my specified contract period, leaving behind a Refrigerator (the apartment did not come with one), and a dresser (too heavy to be moved with 2 people). After dropping my keys off with the receptionist, I said my goodbyes and have been living happily at another apartment. 7 months after I vacated their premises, I was served with a summons stating that IREMCO was suing me. Apparently they felt that my leaving 2 items in the house, constitutes as occupying the premises and attempted to charge me additional months worth of rent. This is a shady company, I have leased from over 5 different management companies, and never have I experienced such distasteful customer service. Do not make the same mistake that I have, and avoid this company at all cost. more

Worst company ever! 2/15/2010

Trust me everyone...stay away from this company. They have no clue what they're doing. They will put off your maintenance issues. All of their houses are moldy and the apartments are filled with bugs. The manager at Pleasant Hollow is horrible. She talks behind your some residents special attn. If she doesn't like you....she'll put you off to the bottom of the list. She makes some people pay the application fee, while others she lets slide. They just plain suck. I know them very well...take my word on this one. Stay Away!! Pros: Nothing Cons: Racism, bad management, horrible employees more

Have to agree with all of you! I lived in Brentwood Forest for 2 years and rented a place from Iremco. Had the worst experience with this company and there was a lot of dishonest issues going on with their staff. Highly recommend to stay away and rent from a private owner in the condos instead. Pros: nothing Cons: dishonest business and weak upkeep of apts more
