-The security deposit (known now as a processing fee) will never be seen again. -Untimely with repairs, even expensive ones like water problems. -They will continuously say there is no fee for something when asked directly, but as soon as the tenant has left the building, they will call with a fee to pay "whenever you can get to it". -The have a policy that is neither displayed, printed in the lease, nor accessible to the tenant, but this policy is what reasons the unknown fees. -The desk people are highly unknowledgeable and the manager dealt with was full of it. So with all these facts in mind, Investment Realty can be described in very few words, but many horror stories: Dishonest, Money-Hungry, Evasive, Difficult, and Inefficient. Save yourself the trouble. Investment is easy to find an apartment through (have not tried house shopping through them), but finding the apartment is the only easy part of Investment's dealings. more

The apartment itself is good; everything is actually really good EXCEPT for the loud neighbors that live upstairs! I live in a two bedroom apartment and the people upstairs consist of a family of 5, let me tell you I really cannot wait to move! And it is unfortunate because I really like my apartment. They make it so unbearable notice 24/7. I have filed numerous complaints and you think the neighbors would at least be somewhat embarrassed...yeah right! No shame! more

Roach Haven 7/19/2011

We had a lease on an apartment with this company. The apartment was at 1204 N. Pine Street and looked decent when we first toured it. However, upon inspection, we found that the stove had not been moved away from the cabinets in a very long time. There was 1/2 inch of old grease between the stove and the cabinet, when I opened the stove top I saw dried food and dead roaches. Behind the stove were two holes in the concrete walls stuffed with Walmart bags. A live black widow spider was found by the baseboard heater and the roaches were so thick that they had left black trails on the walls of the apartment in the mortar gaps between the cinder blocks. They charged us 1/2 month's rent to terminate our lease after we had had possession for less than 24 hours and had spent 4 hours trying to clean. I would certainly be VERY cautious if I were renting in Rolla from anyone. Move the appliances and check for cleanliness!!! more

The WORST to rent from 6/22/2011

Investment Realty does not care about their renters. With Black Mold in the home we were told to "spray it with bleach". With serious paint chipping off the walls in my sons room, nothing was said. And when we complained about the basement flooding, we were then told "Oh, well their is a crack in the foundation and nothing we can do about it." It has caused my son serious health issues and I will NEVER rent from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. The worst place I have ever rented from. I would rather pay $200 more a month than rent from them. They are no good slum lords! more

They were all so nice and courteous. 4/26/2011

I would like to explain my appreciation to the gentleman that came to my place on the evening of Thanksgiving. I came home after being gone all day to an odor that to me smelled like something hot or smoldering. I called the emergency number and spoke to a very nice gentleman that said he would send someone out. He sent a gentlemen out and he did everything possible trying to find the odor. He could find nothing, so he called another person that also came out. He could not find anything so he called another one to bring a heat sensor. Still could not find anything except they thought it might be one of the bulbs in the kitchen. He removed the bulb. I just want you to know and please pass on how very much I appreciate these gentlemen leaving their families on a holiday to come and help me. They were all so nice and courteous. more
