This was a great fun place and the lazer tag was the best but alas all good things must come to a close at some time... Illusions is no longer in business :-( And my kids and I...

Great Kid Entertainment 4/1/2006

Kids love this place. The games, the excitement and the tickets! Got to admit, even for adults, some of those immediate pay off games can really suck you in as you find yourself dropping quarter after quarter in. The laser tag is also fun for the kids, but these extras are expensive. If you've got yourself an Entertainment Book, be sure and use the coupon for the arcade games because you will get at least double your money for one visit! more

Kids Go Nuts 3/18/2006

Illusionz is like the next stage after Chuck E Cheese. It is a gaming place where the kids play arcade type games and get tickets for prizes. I personally could live with out it, but the kids just absolutely love it. Ok, and I admit it, there are a couple of games there, where if I drop a token in, I'm hooked, because I know...I just know, that I'm on the verge of trapping that light under the bars! Anyhow, for rainy day amusement or a good birthday party alternative (although expensive), it's a good place to check out. more

Fun for the whole family 12/4/2005

I have children under five, but we've enjoyed going to Illusionz as a family. The kids can play in the castle and that pretty much keeps them busy while Daddy plays on the arcade games. We haven't tried the batting cages or the mini golf, but it looks fun. The few times we've been in there, there were a lot of children in the 9-13 age range running wild, which isn't so bad since the area suitable for younger children is towards the back. I was impressed to find such a large arcade/family fun center in Issaquah. It's the perfect place for it since there are so many children around here. Great place to go on rainy days. It's not as big as Dave and Busters, but it definitely appeals to a wide age range. more

The Magic of Illusionz 11/21/2005

Illusionz has a magic theme, but they no longer have magic shows there. They do have a lot of other things - a climbing castle for 3+, air hockey, lots of video games, mini putt, a very cool climbing wall, laser tag, and bowling (I forget what they call it, but it's 2/3 the size of your normal bowling lane and you can wear your own shoes). Since I have little ones, the main attraction for us is the climbing castle. My only complaint is that it's $5...I would take my kids more often if it was cheaper. The food is so-so and my husband loves that he can get beer in the cafe - unfortunately it has to stay in the cafe. more

Empty feeling, batting cages rarely working, disappointing 8/18/2005

I was hugely disappointed by this place. My first tip-off should have been the "unique" name spelling. My second tip-off should have been how empty they were during the day in the summertime (where are the kids?). They had a couple games I liked, but hardly any classics or variations away from the first person shooters or ride-em cars. I would have loved to try out the batting cages, but the two times I came here - they weren't in operation. All in all, I'd rather head into Seattle for the other arcades. more

Larger than a mall arcade, smaller than a Gameworks. 8/18/2005

I'm a DDR'er i love to play that dance game, So i head to illusionz because they usually have 2 or 3 of these machines and keep them in good shape, not to mention they are up to date and not to expensive.. I've played a few of the other machines and some of them are a bit older (not using the word outdated tho). They have mini golf also (indoors) and a batting cage out back i think. They also do magic shows, and they have a food area where you can eat inside.. I think game works is a bit flashier and definitely bigger, but this isn't a bad place for all the teens to hang out at in issaquah.. I give it a good rating.. Oh yea you have to use their special Illuzions cards, it doesn't take quarters or dollars.. more

Great place to bring the kids for an afternoon of fun 8/17/2005

Illusionz is a great place to bring the kids for an afternoon of fun and entertainment. Illusionzs has a magic show, laser tag, a mini putt putt course, lots and lots of video games, and batting cages. Great place to have a kids birthday party or to wear them out for an afternoon. We use the batting cages to get ready for softball season. more

good value timecards 8/16/2005

this place offers good value for their timecards, especially if you have a discount card that makes it "buy 1 get 1 free". Video game selection is quite good but pinball machines are few. Not sure why, maybe pinball machines are out? Anyway I could find more pinball machines in the (then) new Denver airport than here. more

Fantastic Arcade with lots of fun machines and magic shows! 8/13/2005

Illusionz is a wonderful arcade that uses cards that you pre-pay for up front. On a lot of the machines you win tickets that you can cash in for prizes for kids, so its an ideal place for birthday parties! not to mention there are magic shows there just about ever week or so, the kids will love it! there is also "Dance Dance revolution" machines if you would like to try the latest excercise arcade game sweeping the nation! The games range from 50 cents to 1 dollar, but usually the prices seem fair.. I believe its open till 10 or 11 every night. There is also miniature golf and a batting cage in the back! They really packed a lot into the sized lot they have and there is more than enough parking! located in the center of, this is a great place for teens and kids of all ages! more

Best Arcade Around Seattle! 7/12/2005

Illusionz is a small independent arcade, but don't think that that equates to "small." Illusionz is a good sized arcade with tons of games, a karaoke room, and a concession stand. The only negative is that a lot of games were broken -- far too many to just have happened; clearly they're letting their games go downhill without fixing them. This is a shame; if they'd fix them they would truly be perfect! Pricewise, the time cards can be very inexpensive, especially with online coupons, especially cheap compared to Gameworks and other big arcades. more
