I am from Texas and they have THE SAME DESIGN! I am pretty sure they stole the design from another chain!!!!

Not so good anymore 11/25/2009

Iguanas was amazing when it first opened but since then the menu, the cooks and the managment continually change. The prices have gone up yet the amount of food you get has gone down? During our last visit the owner (Luis) was very rude to a waiter that made an honest mistake on our order. We have vowed not to return as I am not going to throw away my family's hard-earned money to chance a another poor dinner at Iguanas. I would be surprised if they last much longer :( more

A little over priced... 1/23/2009

Food is the regular "Mexican" chain platters. For some reason the food is a little over priced and the wait staff is constantly changing. I am friends with one of the employees and she said its because the boss is never there and they have different management. more

Another processed mexican chain 1/23/2009

Iguanas is just another addition to the "canned and processed" Mexican restuarants in the area. That cheese queso you like so much is shipped, along with the shredded already prepared meats, and salsas. Why are we paying so much? The portions are small and prices are high. People are just happy they have restuarants in N liberty now even if they are low quality. The staff is great but the manager (older lady) always looks angry. Overall i think N liberty could use a better Latino place. more

It is very nice to have a good Mexican restaurant so close to home. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. The interior is aesthetically pleasing too. Stop in and enjoy food from "south of the border" here in North Liberty. more

Iguana's 5/25/2006

This is a great place for lunch with friends. I find the service to be friendly and quick. The servers have a better command of English than some of the local restaurants that serve Mexican fare. The food is always freshly prepared and comes to the table hot. Not only is this restaurant easy to get to, but is is easy on the pocketbook. You get good value for your dollar. I have dined there during the lunch hour on numerous occasions. It is a busy place so I recommend you get there by 11:30 or after 1:00 when the crowd has thinned down. An added incentive is the availability of other businesses close by. Shopping at Fareway after lunch is my usual fare because it is so close. more

Iguana's Grill 4/4/2006

Authentic Mexican food. I'm a big fan of their white queso dip. Just the right mild cheese and spices. I've eaten in several times, it's fast and hot and the margaritas are amazing. I like them for takeout because they are fast and courteous. Iguana's has been in the area for quite a while. The family opened their first restaurant in Hills, Iowa. People drive to the little town of Hills for this wonderful style of Mexican food. Iguana's has now opened up a new grill with a drive-thru down in Coralville on the strip. We haven't tried it out yet, but hope to very soon. more
