Simply the best! 7/15/2004

This was one of my secret favorites when I lived in SF. I've just come back to visit, and I Fratelli is still a gem. It's not a ""glitzy"" place. Just amazing food in a friendly environment. And an amazing wine list ... outstanding tiramisu ... and a perfect location. If you only go to ONE restaurant in San Francisco, this should be the one. The pasta was amazing here! While the service and atmosphere were average, the food is delicious (although the bruschetta is garlic bread with tomatoes on top). Going to I Fratelli is a gem in an otherwise residential area. Pros: Delicious pasta, Good wine more
