Hull Burrow & Case

I had a minor problem with my bite resulting in grinding of my teeth during my sleep. I signed up for Burrow and Case under the impression that they could fix my bite and I could live happily without teeth problems. It has been over two years now and now they say i'll need surgery that my insurance cannot cover. Good luck to you if you choose Burrow and Case. I brush and floss my teeth every day. After so many years of no hope; November 10th 2009 changed my life forever. I was born with a third level underbite. My underbited was inherited from my great grandafther. I grew up being teased, feeling not good enough, but my parents didn't know what to do with a child with this condition. You see I was born in 1956, African american female, so you lived with it. As an adult I desire to just have a normal smile. At the age of 54, I woke up with a locked jaw and found the referral from my dentist I had to go and talk to an orthodontic just to relieve the pain. As soon as I walked in the office I was greeted with kindness. Dr. Burrows took a look at me and told me this is nothing we can help you, now, that day I went home with braces on. He was very thorough and explained to me my bite could be corrected and not to worry it is a process one day at a time. I worn braces for a year before my teeth were in the right position for surgery; which took place on Dec 28th 2010. I was in surgery for four hours and woke up a brand new person. Dr. Burrows worked side by side with my surgeon Dr. Brian Farrell my other guardian angel and these two wonderful men have changed my life forever. I am now 55 years 9 months later after my surgery and I am a new person with beautiful straight teeth and wonderful smile. I became a transfer patient to Dr. Burrow's office upon my arrival to the Charlotte area. On my initial visit/consultation, he noticed that my prior dentist was not correcting my upper gumline that was recessed due to having a crown on one of my front teeth. He stated that I could achieve better results by treating the gumline, to me this ensured a greater smile. Now, a year later, all I can say is WOW! I am extremely thankful for his keen observation and methods used in my treatment. He gave me a target date for completion, something that seemed unreachable with my prior Orthodontist, and the results are phenomenal. I can honestly say, they are life changing results! Dr. Burrow has done an excellent job with braces for myself on 3 different occassions. Involved in a dental accident at the age of 5, my first braces were put on after oral surgery when I was 7. At the age of 12, I had braces on the top and bottom teeth and then again on the top when in college. Each time the care I received from Dr. Burrow and his staff was beyond incredible. My mother and brother also used Dr. Burrow for braces and it shows! Constantly, we receive comments on "how nice" our teeth are and I am so thankful this practice did the job. My husband is now driving over 40 miles to have Dr. Burrow put braces on on his top and bottom teeth, after having braces once as a child.
