Hukilau 3/17/2006

is great for hawaiin food. it's not the best but given the choices for hawaiin food in the city, i'd have to say that hukilau is up there as one of my favorites for hawaiin food. the atmosphere is nice, food is yummy and price is very decent. the entrees were better than the appetizers which didn't appear to be hawaiin but more like pub appetizers. more

Hawaiian on a budget 3/16/2006

Hukilau is a great option if you're not feeling Hawaiian Drive In or L&L and instead want some atmosphere to go along with the great food. There is a nice seating area outdoors with heat lamps. Entrees come with the usual two scoops of rice and macaroni salad, and I really liked my meal of chicken adobo. They have appetizers like spam musubi, tuna poke, etc. more
