8. Before I talked to Anthony I had lost all the hopes because the other firms whom I met before told me that I don’t qualify for a bankruptcy but thanks to Anthony who helped me qualify for chapter 7 bankruptcy and get my debts cleared. He helped me a lot throughout the process. It was a great experience. I was his priority not the money I was going to pay. Highly recommended. more

I had a great experience with Hughes Financial Law! After 3 years of fighting off debt and barely being able to pay my mortgage I decided the search for help. I met with a consolidation company, debt settlement company, and a couple bankruptcy attorneys. No one was able to help me with all of my problems and only proposed a quick fix one of the problems I had. Anthony Hughes met with me and went over a plan with me that not only got rid of my debt but he also was confident that he could modify my mortgage payment, cant beat that right. Although it seemed good to be true, I went for it. And now 6 months later I am out of debt and got a 30 year loan modification on my mortgage!! I am forever thankful and can finally breath :) more

All Assets Exempt, Trustee Sells 12/25/2011

According to the website, debtconsolidationcare, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy involves a Trustee selling some of the bankrupt person's assests, deemed non-exempt during the filing of the bankruptcy. Yet, at the Sacramento, California Self-Help Legal Center, a legal representative apparently filed all of my Chapter 7 bankruptcy assets as completely exempt. In that case, therefore, what kinds of assets, or non-assets, for that matter, could the Trustee possibly have sold on my behalf in order to pay for the debts? more
