Hot Topic

I love the belts that they sell at Hot Topic. They are cool yet funky. The sales people are really funky, which is refreshing sometimes not to see stuffy people. They are helpful when you ask them. I also like the T shirts that they sell. Sometimes you can find prefect funny gifts. Overall a cool store if you like that style more

I've probably been in this store about once or twice, and I don't really feel comfortable going in there. The first time I went in there, I thought it was a Haloween store, so I came out, because I didn't really need a Haloween costume in December. Anyways, the second time (after I found out it WASN't a Haloween store ;), I was there looking for a present for my "emo" friend's birthday. When I came in, nobody was there to greet me. I guess because I didn't really fit in with the store workers (who were all punk/goth). So, I came out once again and instead bought my friend a present elsewhere. I've heard that Hot Topic actually has some cheap stuff, but I'm not going to bother going into there again. not unless they get some brighter colors and brighter employees. more

Hot Topic is one of those stores where, if you don't belong, you don't belong. Hot Topic exists for the hard core rockers out there who like wearing spiky belts and wrist cuffs. Everything in the store seems to revolve around the color black, hot pink, red, or green; nothing for a nice, sweet girl. Therefore, if you have a rebel child that needs a present, Hot Topic is the store to go. more
