Hooper's Crab House

Very disppointing.. First off their all you can eat feast is not a buffet. They bring it to the table and give you whatever they want. You do not choose. But we didnt get the ""feast"" we got an actual meal. Completely overpriced !!! I got a chicken Chesapeake that had some sort of crab whatever on top. So disgusting. The corn comes in a husk ... which i did NOT choose to have. You cannot get a different side. IT tasted horrible! It was like when you drive past a farm full of stinky cows in your mouth. BLAH!! Then the POTATOES? what potatoes they are two small as can be red potatoes that have no seasoning. and they were hard ! please i could have made this meal or purchased it at red lobster at home for 1/4th as much as it costs. I cannot believe that meal exactly what i just told you chicken a piece of corn and two potatoes cost 22.95 !!!! and then the drink! What they give you is a cup with their logo on it and tell you at the end of the meal its unlimited refills and costs 5.00 what they dont tell you (as you sweat in their restaurant because their is no air conditioning) is that they never come back to give you a refil!!! and I ordered sweet tea !!! when I think of sweet tea i think of brewed iced tea and sugar. NOT INSTANT LIPTON/NESTEA LEMON FLAVORED POWDER MIXED DRINK was a complete disappointment. And I have a 2 year old infant. They sat us in a section where we had to sit on bar stools !! So their custom highchair which sits extremely high has NO SEATBELT TO LATCH YOUR CHILD IN. I was furious. Their was no I'm sorry , no we can change your seat. From the manager/waitress staff was a well good then theirs an understanding that their is no belt and we cant fix or change anything and he walked away. that is exactly what he said .... Well good then.... and walked away !!! WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS.. I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR !!!! this one deserves to not exist and take anyones money !!! Completely horrible !!! This restaurant is HORRIBLE!!! I visited this establishment last week while on vacation, and I'm sorry I did. The food is very bad and overpriced...our shrimp dinners cost $18 65 each and was terrible...McDonald's is much better and costs much less!!! The waitress was a clueless Russian speaking girl who could have cared less... brought there to work for less money from Overseas & taking american jobs, all the waitresses there were...the pop was very overpriced ($4.65) and watered down and tasted off...the fries were hard and served cold..the vegetables were tasteless, hard, served plain with no sauce or seasoning and were yukky...the so-called shrimp were poor quality...and we had to ask for shrimp sauce & given a small container that was not even half full and not nearly enough. Our 2 horrible small shrimp dinners plus pop came to an unbelievable $50.00...& we had to try hard to choke it down!! It ruined our whole day and upset us greatly.\r \r We complained to both the waitress and the Manager...both did nothing ...the Manager told us, ""that's good to know"".\r \r I have also done some research online and found many other really bad reviews for this restaurant...seems that no-one likes it!!!\r \r Cons: VERY overpriced.
