In love with my Bed and homemart america! 3/3/2011

As a follow up to our initial review of our mattress- we continue to be IN LOVE with this bed. Our friends roll their eyes when we start rhapsodizing how GREAT our bed is. It's seriously like sleeping on a cloud. Even when I am hitting snooze in the morning, I find myself drifting back into actual SLEEP because it is so freaking comfortable. We are so happy with our mattress that we have had 2 friends invest in new beds, based on our enthusiasm. It's worth the money, and every day we are happy with our purchase. Worst Customer Service 2/25/2011

Home Mart will never get my business again....they have the worst customer service and never communicate with each other. And on top of everything you have to wait for your delivery for along time. i recently went to purchase a bedroom set and i was told that i could apply for a home mart card. well i was told to fax over my information which i did and they could not find my personal information that i faxed over, so now i have all of my bank and ss information floting around somewhere and i had to wait three weeks to get my delivery...when finally i get a call to set up a time for the delivery they manage to not have the right time in theyre paper work....WORST STORE EVER!!!!!! more

Recently i purchased mattresses in this store and i found out that i got the best deal than any where. Even if there were issues in the past right now the quality of mattresses and service has both great. i love this store!! Its the best! more

We recently purchased a new leather chair and ottoman there. The store has a varied selection and we found the exact chair that would match our living room. The staff was ok, I thought we were waiting a bit too long.\r \r \r more

Exceptional work! 10/14/2010

Ok so I have been what you call an incredibly annoying picky person by some. I can never really find what I like anywere! So when I went out to find a new sofa I knew that it would not be an easy task! Oh boy did I look Macys, oh who else, a couple places Basset (not for me) then I found these guys. From the moment that I walked in everything I said I wanted could be done. It was so easy to put something together I can not even tell you. Then I got it in my home OH BOY! really so much beter tthan expected! They even took my old cat scrated ugly used sofa away! Really nothing but good here in homemart!!\r \r \r more

Perfect match!!! 10/13/2010

I purchased ""antique"" style bedroom furniture years ago. At the time, I could only afford the bed and the dresser. By the time I could afford the nightstands, the set had been discontinued. I searched high and low and finally found these nightstands at homemart; perfect match!!! and very good deal at this store. more

I've now purchased 3 pieces of furniture from Homemart. The sofa I just bought was 1/3 less than a competitor, for the exact same sofa with Chair and cusions, it was really a great deal!! Love this store...really cool deals!! more

Great plcae and super prices! 10/12/2010

The prices here are phenomenal and really high quality. We bought a Dining table and china, $1600 in most stores, $749 here (I had to rent a truck and haul it myself, another $60). I can live without pushy sales people, fancy showrooms, and high prices. No one wil help you until you ask and the place is a huge, unorganized mess, but you can really find some gems. Tough to find, but worth the hunt. Pros: Lots of high quality items, low prices Cons: None really, just know you are on your own more

Considering furniture shopping ranks right up there with car shopping and root canal, this was much better than I expected. :) Our sales lady was very nice, not pushy, not overly-'familiar' or overwhelming, but still very friendly and eager to help us find what we were looking for. This store is my favorite furniture store! 10/6/2010

This store is my favorite furniture store in Hartford. This place is also very eclectic. It is a little more pricey than some, but they do have some amazing sales. Homemart also has Asian featured furniture as well as Latin. But then they have some other random stuff as rugs, vases, bed sofas, pillow, curtains, candles etc. I highly recommend going here if you are looking for furniture and if you find something come back during their sale. more

Great price, quality and friendly staff 10/6/2010

When looking for a dining room suite, I decided to visit Homemart because I had heard that it was a ""down-home"" family operated business. The showroom I visited was fantastic - they had a huge and extensive line of products for every room in your house. Although their selection was massive, they styles I found were limited - there was a lot to chose from if you liked traditional, country, cottage, contemporary and modern pieces. The staff was very friendly and their customer service was great - not overly pushy at all. The prices were reasonable and were in line with other places I had visited so that was also a plus. Oh, and lots of parking too! more

Very modern and classy furniture 10/5/2010

Homemart has a very large showroom of modern furniture. I would say that the furniture selection most resembles items that you find in the West Elm catalog. The furniture ranges from solid wood to wood with laminate. Although they have a limited selection of bedroom furniture, I did find a bed that I liked there. It was made of sustainably harvested solid mahogany and cost $799 for a queen. I did not inquire about shipping but I do believe it is available. more

Awesome furniture!!! 10/5/2010

There are so many cool items in this place, I don't even know where to begin. Fortunately for me, I have learned some restraint or I would have to have two home to hold all of my purchases. The furniture is very minimalist and streamlined, which appeals to my inner anal-retentiveness. One other thing that appeals to me is how the space is very light. So many of the shops on Capitol Hill are dark and cramped, but this shop feels very spacious and gets plenty of light. more

You cannot imagine how lovely this headboard is.My bedroom is 12' X 10' so I needed to keep it looking light & airy. It looks perfect. I am a 68 yr. old that put this bed together by herself. If you order this headboard, you won't be unhappy with it I promise. The finish is between an antique gold/bronze finish. Stunning but not too much. Very easy transaction. Amazing selection at this store!! 10/1/2010

I failed to buy nightstands with my bedroom set some years back. Once I decided that I wanted one, I searched in local stores and all over the internet. I was so excited when I came across this website and found the nightstand I wanted. When I received the nightstand I was pleasantly surprised that not only did it match the design of my bedroom furniture almost perfectly, but the cherry color was exactly the right shade! It looks like it came with the bedroom set. It is a beautiful piece of furniture, very sturdy and the drawer space is perfect. There is even a secret jewelry drawer that comes in very handy and it came already assembled!! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is considering buying furniture. Amazing selection!!! more

Highly recomended 9/30/2010

We recently ordered a Dinning table set from this company. Having never ordered large furniture online before I was a bit leary of it, concerned about possible damage in transit and return policies, etc. The table arrived much faster than we expected, and was packed extremely well in styrofoam, bubblewrap, and a box within a box. Delivery was free and on-time (they called first to set up a time that Id be here). The table itself is very high-quality, heavy, well-made, and in perfect condition. Assembly instructions were very clear. If all of their products are like this one, Id highly recommend them! more
