HomeFix is just an expensive way of having Windows, Doors, Roofing, or Siding installed. The products they represent are great products but if you do business with HomeFix you'll be paying double the price. HomeFix is nothing more than a high pressure sales office who subcontracts out the work to a local distributor/installation provider. Don't believe your HomeFix salesmen if he tells you they don't subcontract the work. Also, your HomeFix salesmen generally will only quote you a price for the job and won't line item your costs. Ask him the individual price he's charging you for the different size windows he's quoted for you. They'll charge you as much for a small basement hopper window as a large double hung living room window. If they quote you an average of $670 per window for your job....rest assured you could have gotten the same work / same material quality for probably $450 per window or less with a more reputable company. Also, they don't have as many offices open as they lead you to believe and your salesman probably isn't licensed for in home renovation sales as required by the state. Frankly, they are just a bunch of dishonest boneheads feeding off the trust of others. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with them. more

I used to work for Homefix in Gaithersburg and my advice is STAY AWAY! The main sales pitch for Homefix is they give you a huge story about the history of the business. The 2 original owners couldnt afford advertising so they started knocking on doors and offering an "advertisement home" program, where if you allow them to put a sign out front and distribute flyers for 30 days you will receive a "40% discount". But you cant discuss the price with your neighbors and you have to decide while the salesman is in your home because they have "sooo many" other appointments and its first come first serve. It doesnt matter if you sign that night or 6 months from then.. you will get the same deal... in fact, even the "40%" discounted price is inflated and higher than most other companies. Secondly... they love to sell you on the "all inclusive parts and labor warranty" which is also BS which you can see from the review by Bruce n. they will offer it to you but that doesnt mean they will follow through, and they usually dont! and someone from homefix can make a review saying that I am a bitter ex-employee, and you know what, you are absolutely right! because they treat their employess just as bad as their customers... in fact I have a friend who did business with them and now refuses to advertise for them like agreed because of how ill he was treated by even the Owner! Ive stated nothing that isnt true, in fact I could ot said a lot more. I worked for them long enough to know how they operate, and if I can keep only one person from being screwed over by these guys then thats enough for me. but if you were smart you would shop around and find a better company because believe me there are plenty out there. more

Even thou I was slightly upset by the among of calls I was receiving I must say everyone was pleasant and very helpful was upset that they could not meet with me personally unless my spouse was present but after I seen the amount of products they offer I understood I would recommend HomeFix to any and everyone I am very pleased with my work! more

I recently had my windows replaced by Homefix and the energy savings well exceeded the guaranteed amount. My wife and I were impressed with how much cheaper this company was compared to other estimates we had received. Every employee from the company that we spoke with or encountered was extremely friendly and helpfull. I would definitely recommend this company to others. more

They'll come to your home when it's convenient for you to talk about what you need done, which is nice. They do siding, windows, doors and more. I've heard that it's hard to get companies to small work on houses and that's not a problem at all with Home Fix. However, it's the typical high pressure sales so know what you want before you talk to them. But the work done was very good and very professional. more
