I signed on with Home Paramount in 2007 after buying an old but well maintained home in Mechanicsburg, PA. George repeatedly tried to sell me on their 10 year guaranteed termite protection plan, and after seeing some evidence of past infestation, opted to have it done. \r
\r
George sent two guys down in January, who then drilled and pumped hundreds of gallons of pesticide into the ground beneath my home. I specifically questioned the efficacy of this process in mid-winter, and was assured it would cause no problems and would be effective.\r
\r
Two days later, due to the water freezing and expanding under the foundation of my home a fracture developed which extends 2/3 the length of my cellar, and extends roughly 25 feet across my stamped concrete patio.\r
\r
Moreover, by mid-March, and inspection outside my home turned up evidence of a termite colony in one corner of my home. Multiple calls over a 36 hour period to THIS office resulted in no response.\r
\r
When an expensive procedure not only proves ineffective, but basic follow-up and customer service in this type of situation goes unheeded, there is little else to base any sort of favorable recommendation on. I would not only warn people away from doing business with Home Paramount, but SIGNIFICANTLY warn them against any expensive extended protection programs. I feel completely snowed and conned by these people, and would never, EVER do business with them again.
Cons: Very poor service and inadequate follow-up.
