Home Hardware is one of those wonderful "smaller" hardware stores that have seemed to fall off the face of the earth after mega-hardware stores have taken all of the customers. Ironically, Home Hardware manages to prevail in light of local Home Depots regardless of their proximity because of its friendly, courteous service and well-stocked shelves.
I shop at this store especially during the winter months when I need to stock up on salts and shovels. The prices are competitive and thankfully it seems that when I need something--from a new house key to a small generator--they have it in stock.
The store is situated in an odd spot on Franklin Turnpike--getting in and out of the driveway can be tricky business. However, this store is open 7 days a week--a blessing in Bergen County where everything save for the diner is closed--and their seasonal sales on grills, snowblowers, and other items are regular and welcomed by the community.
