Holt Electric Svc Inc

I had two other companies in to fix my electrical problems and they spent hours trying to find the problem, neither were successful. I thought I had electrical ghosts then a friend recommended Holt Electric so I called made a appointment. On the scheduled day & time they called to tell me they were in route to my house. Upon their arrival the oldest of the two asked me a few questions and went straight to my breaker panel he checked it to find no problem, I thought oh no another service charge with no fix. The electrician went outside and began walking in my yard then he got his ladder and climbed up into a tree and found where a tree limb was growing around the main wires coming to my house which was shorting the wires. He called the power company and reported it. Loaded his ladder printed my Invoice and told me the power company was on their way. All in one and a half hours $ 142.50 and it ended my problems...Thank you very much Holt Electric ! more

Holt Electric was hired to do what turned out to be a very small job. We had problems arranging a time with them and had to reschedule our work days to suit them. The two ""gentlemen"" who showed up were snide and condescending regarding the job. No discussion of rates/charges etc. provided ahead of time. The job itself ended up taking less than 5 minutes for one of them (the senior member stayed in the truck) to complete. We received an explanation filled with electrician gobbleygook which seemed mainly designed to cover up the fact they handed us a bill for over $100 for 5 minutes of ""effort."" My partner works as an accountant for a medical practice and pointed out that's better than the salaries of the senior physicians at the practice. Definitely two thumbs down. more

What a great electrical company!! They are courteous and clean. I have used alot of cruddy service companies but these guys are the best!! HIGHLY recommended. Thanks a bunch, Holt Electric. more

We recently had Holt Electric Service over to replace our electrical fixtures and add a new standby generator, in our older historical home.
