Holly Springs School Of Dance

My daughter took several classes here over the last few years. We were extremely happy with her teachers and she learned a lot. A few things caused me to change studios...1) the SIZE of the studio - there are tons of kids who go here. Can make registration a pain. Never really got to know too many people b/c of size. 2) SIZE led to recital madness. Had to have several recitals over several days in Raleigh and it was barely controlled chaos. 3) Was mildly disappointed with some of the recital costumes & music. Nothing horrible, just not what I would have picked for my daughter to jump up & down in front of 500 people in. Overall a good experience, might take classes there again later, but did make a switch due to these items. more

This is an awesome studio. The preschool dance program is second to none. Your child will be loved and nurtured and will be learning not only dance but coordination and musicality AND HAVING FUN!!! No competitions here. Just community service activities to show the kids how their gift of dance can help someone else. The biggest problem is that SO many people love it here it's gotten so big and it's just hard to effectively communicate with a population that large. The website is often out of date and most publications contain typos, but they are usually cleared up quickly. Monthly newsletters are automatically emailed to those registered families though which is so helpful. I really wouldn't let my daughter dance anywhere else. Excellent director, really cares about all of the dancers at the studio. Knows everyone by name. Teachers are excellent. Parents, staff and dancers are very welcoming. Great studio! How every studio should be run. more
