""Better than I expected"" 10/30/2011

Rented this room for one night and have to say that it was better than I expected. The room was pretty clean and didn't show any signs of neglect. The bathroom was clean and stocked with the usual items like bath soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. The room had a small microwave, coffee maker, TV with cable and small refrigerator. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good. Wide variety of items. The sausage was a little under-cooked but everything was ok. We had a little challenge finding places to eat (late in the evening) close to the hotel. The GPS had referred us to a couple of place that had closed. Overall good experience and would stay there again. more

BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT!!EXCELLENT!!! 12/23/2009

THIS HOTEL WAS FABULOUS! I ENJOYED MY STAY THERE FROM BEGINING TO END!! THE PEOPLE MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS AT HOME AND WERE THERE TO ASSIST ME AT ALL TIMES!THIS WASNT MY FIRST VISIT, BUT THIS IS MY FIRST REVIEW, EVERYTIME HAS BEEN POSITIVELY WONDERFUL IN ALL ASPECTS!! EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN FROM THE LOBBY TO THE ROOM AND EVEN THE HEATED POOL! I WILL BE SURE TO KEEP THIS HOTEL ON MY LIST! I CANT BELIEVE IT IS 4YRS OLD, YOU WOULD THINK IT WAS JUST BUILT THIS YEAR, FLOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL, ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND ORDERLY, THERE IS EVEN A WELCOMING FIRE GOING IN THE LOBBY (HOW CUTE!) THE COTTON THEME GOING IN THIS HOTEL IS AMAZING! I ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED MY STAY! Dirty for a 3/28/2008

At first look, the Holiday Inn Express looks pretty good with the granite counters and awesome flooring! When I called a month prior to my stay, I asked if it was one of the new Holiday Inn Expresses. The front-desk person told me it was. It wasn't as nice as the others I have been to, but it was a decent price and near where I needed to be for my work meeting the next day. It was not new though. I think it was an older hotel that was remodeled. Pros: Price, convenience to my meeting Cons: Dirty, uneducated employees, warm soda more
